Oats lover? New discovery about beta glucans. We’ve known for a while that beta glucans in oats may help reduce “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and decrease the levels of saturated fats in the blood. In this new study, 150 children with coeliac disease followed a strict gluten-free diet for 12 months, in the hope to repair their gut lining.
