Recently, Airbnb made news when the hashtag ‪#‎AirbnbWhileBlack‬ became a hot trending topic. Users of the popular short-term rental service voiced frustration over difficulties they faced when attempting to book on the site, or attracting renters to their listing. Many suspect racial bias played a part. A new site, Innclusive, aims to solve this issue by building a community which welcomes people of all backgrounds.

Eating a deep-fried tarantula wasn't exactly high on my list to do in life, but when in Cambodia. Besides, travelling is all about having new experiences and stepping out of your comfort zone, right?

Phnom Penh was the first city I visited in Cambodia and it's also one of the cities most affected by several incredibly tragic events from the country's not-too-distant past. This post was a difficult one to write because of the sensitive nature of the topics I discuss, and my desire to cover it in a way that's respectful rather than sensationalistic.
