the grounds and facility are nice, nice staff but if youre paying anything over $50 p/person, its a rip off... why? the food is equivalant to nursing home food, a bad nursing home at that. Even the presentation is terrible. Saddest plates ive ever seen. We all know catering halls charge an arm and a leg and its because of the food, hence, i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
I had my wedding there almost four years ago and my wife and I absolutely loved it! The staff were pleasant and professional. The wedding started on time like clockwork. The guests were treated nicely. The food was great. All of my guests were fully satisfied! We don't have any regrets
Recently came here for a wedding at night. As we approached the place, it was beautifully lit up with Christmas lighting! It was a beautiful entrance especially on a wedding day. The locations of the wedding ceremony, cocktail/waiting area, and the reception was spacious, well decorated, and embracing. As for the food, the appetizers were good, but the dinner at the reception was not as good as I had expected. Others at the event also had the same complaint.
Came here for a friends wedding. The event was very nice.
The grounds are really well done.
There were multiple weddings taking place all at once.
Some of the dishes needed better washing and we found some stuff in the water.
Besides from the extras mentioned above this is a nice place.
I hadn't even realized there was the event/restaurant side of The Fox Hollow—I'd only seen the hotel from the road. I was here for a wedding and it was perfect. Nice, old feel to the place, and the reception room is great with windows completely lining one side.
The hotel is very nice and the complementary breakfast and dinner is an added plus. The only thing that can be improved (greatly if one can be honest) is the room service which seems to be non-existent.
If you have lots of guest and you don't want them to drive, then this is the place 4 U. It has a hotel next door. But don't ask anyone anything because most of the outside staff can't speak English and it's always pot luck on which door you're suppose to enter. The back or the front. Mostly when you enter, you'll see valet only and kitchen staff walking around
