Doc T here, Just wanted to share a first hand perspective of the additional concerns horse owners go through with major storms. This special travels with Doc T blog also has some links to help out Horse Owners in Texas and Florida if you are in a position to do so. https://theequinepractice.com/an-african-breeze/

Hey Y'all - Doc T here, and I am sure you are well aware of the disaster facing Texas right now. We all face challenges in our lives with horses that can often go beyond words - and our means. Many of my clients have been there. With another hurricane forming in the Atlantic and heading towards Florida and Harvey beating up Texas, we all want to reach in our pockets to help our brothers and sisters with horses.

I have placed at the top of the home page at TheEquinePractice.com two sites where you can go to donate WITH CONFIDENCE to all causes at any time where disaster relief is needed. These are the American Association of Equine Practitioners (https://foundation.aaep.org/form/foundation-donation) and the United States Equestrian Federation (https://www.usef.org/media/press-releases/donate-to-usef-equine-disaster-relief-fund)

Both of these organizations will donate to where the need is greatest for horses in trouble without discriminating to a breed, sport or style. We are all horse owners in a disaster. Click any of these links to donate or go to my home page in the future to find these links.

Thanks ~ Doc T and Texas is in our Thoughts and Prayers.

Howdy! The blog I did on "No Sweat" really got a lot of good discussion going. I wanted to make it into a video so it would be even easier to listen to in case you are busy in the barn. Be sure to let me know what you think in the comments https://youtu.be/oa2M1i5yINQ
