The Churning is a book on leadership in times of change.

It comes in two halves:
- Volume 1 focuses on creating inspiration
- Volume 2 focuses on creating results

Each document provides a series of practical tools for addressing the issues can that arise during times of change, and for achieving your desired outcomes.

Taken together, each set of tools provides an integrated framework for progressively transforming not only the situations we face but also our skills and competence as leaders.

Ultimately, these two volumes show us how to create leaders and organisations that are sustainable in the sense that they become ‘antifragile’: they learn not only to survive change but to thrive because of it. They know how to use change to become clearer on what matters most to them and more able to achieve that.

Success in a time of change requires focus, adaptability, and enthusiasm. Leaders who apply the tools of The Churning will find they become more resilient, innovative and inspiring. The organisations they lead will start to operate as living, adaptive organisms.

Inner Leadership for Inspiration has been published (November 2015).
Outer Leadership for Results is being written.
