It has come to our attention that Grace Health Systems of Lubbock is using our name and registered D.B.A. “Chiropractic Care Center” as a description for their clinic. We wish the public to know that our business was established in 2001 and is the original Chiropractic Care Center in Lubbock. We have no affiliation with Grace Health Systems.

Where Does Sciatica Come From? What the Heck Is It? Can Chiropractic Help? Part 3 of 6
Piriformis Syndrome draws its name from the Piriformis muscle. The Piriformis muscle is directly above the Superior Gemellus muscle, and the Sciatic nerve. When the pelvis is rotated out of position, these two muscles are stretched tight, and pinch the Sciatic nerve, resulting in radiating pain in the back, buttocks, and hamstrings. This is another condition that will often lead the practitioner into believing that disc herniations are the cause of the problem. However, a true case of Piriformis Syndrome rarely results in pain going past the knee on the back of the leg, where disc herniations at L4 and L5 will almost always result in radiating pain down the back of the leg into the feet. Again, chiropractic adjustment and chiropractic myofascial release techniques often result in at least some, if not massive amounts of sciatic pain relief for the patient suffering from this condition.

Dear Friends and patients: It has recently come to our attention that Grace Health System is using our name Chiropractic Care Center in its advertising. We are not affiliated in any way with Grace Medical System. We have made several phone calls to ask them to cease using our business name. As of this morning I saw another advertisement on google ad words for grace health system's Chiropractic Care Center. We have displayed our Name The Chiropractic Care Center for the last 15 years and have had and do have a current DBA which gives us the right to that name for the next 4 years. It is being renewed ahead of time because of this incident. Please spread the word to your friends and family about this situation.
