I thought that the hotel was decent. It's clean, the design is interesting, and it was easy to find. The bathrooms in the rooms are nice, but the rooms seem about average for a hotel room. The reason that I didn't give it a 5 star was that I felt that the parking situation was a little poorly designed, and even as a guest, you have to pay for it. (Valet or not.) Considering that it is a hotel / casino combination, I would assume that such a place should be able to give you a free parking space. If you're going to spend a couple hundred dollars on a room, especially as a part of a 250+ person party - including countless dollars lost to the casino and spend on bars; isn't it good business to chop the $5 parking fee out and make the place a little more welcoming?

By far one of the best places in town to stay! The Water Club is VERY nice, with robes in all rooms! Free Comedy Show tickets are a plus, and the Metropolitan has great food! A bit of a puzzle to get into the self parking, but worth it! Hard to find parking on the first level at any time of day, this place is so popular! The new re-do of the Living Room is nice, but miss that seashell chandelier they used to have!

This is my happy place. Definitely the nicest casino I've been to in Atlantic City (and I've been to quite a few) and a lovely hotel with good dining options. I do wish there were more lower stakes tables ($5 tables are rare, if they exist at all) but hey, you get what you pay for. It's the small things, like serving drinks in glass cups instead of plastic ones, and having a general nice polish to everything instead of the worn feel of some of the casinos on the boardwalk. Also, the staff is unilaterally accommodating and super-nice, whether at the hotel, casino or restaurants. Can't wait for my next visit.

For all of the fanfare, the Borgata was okay. I've stayed at many hotels and have never had my card charged for incidentals. I've had my card number taken but never charged. I am very disappointed with that. We ate a Bobby F steakhouse house. The seating was horrible. I could hold hands with the couple next to me. My wife and I went to AC for some much needed time alone. I did expect a little privacy during dinner.

I am sorry to say what I HUGE disappointment I experience during my recent stay at the Borgata. The hotel itself is beautiful but the customer service lacks professionalism and diplomacy. Never have I stayed in a hotel were I was made to feel like the staff was doing me a favor by letting me and my 12 colleagues rent their rooms, eat in their expensive restaurants and frequent the casino. We came in for a conference at the convention center and thought it would be nice to patronize the Borgata rather than stay at our "usual" places, closer to the convention center. Together with my colleague, I booked a suite that they claimed had an ocean view. My view was of the parking lot overlooking the city. Our linens smelled as if someone had briefly slept in them - not dirty but certainly not fresh. We got a private dining room for 12 at the Italian restaurant. Our reservations were for 8pm, at which time were were seated. Two waitresses, who seemed frazzled, advised us to get our dinner order in because the kitchen closed at 9pm. Then they disappeared for what seemed to be longer than expected only to return with half our drink orders. The irony of it all was that we never once complained about these issues. The very upsetting reality came when we realized that, for reasons beyond our control, we had to stay another night. Originally we looked three nights but thought we would be leaving after the second night so we cancelled the 3rd night. Once we realized we needed to be in AC for a few more hours, not even an overnight, we called customer service to explain. The problem came to pass when we asked if they could honor our original rate. We were advised that the rate had changed, this time it was literally double the cost, and that if we wanted to stay we would have to pay the full amount. We went in person to speak with a reservation manager and she would not speak to us. The reservation rep mocked my colleague for getting upset and, at one point, we witness both the manger and the rep whispering and giggling like two school girls. We were mortified! While I am in the medical field and not in business, I have enough logic that tells me that a "reduced" rate room (at $320.00) is better than an empty room. After all, we were not asking for a free room or an exceptionally low rate, just what we paid the other nights. The end result was we went to another hotel, closer to the convention center, were treated with respect and gratitude, spent hundreds of dollars in their restaurants and casinos - all the while asking ourselves, "Why go to the Borgata to be treated with a negative, pretentious, unprofessional attitude, when we can spend our money were people appreciate our patronage and have a sense of pride about their work. Never again!

Dear Ms. Santiago: We are sorry to learn that your recent visit to Borgata did not meet your expectations. It was concerning to learn that you experienced disappointment in the customer service you received as well as in your guestroom and during your dining experience at Fornelletto. Please know we have attempted to search for any record of your stay in order to contact you but we were unable to do so. Your concerns have certainly been shared with the appropriate Management Teams so they may address these issues appropriately. As we would like to gather as many details as possible, please feel free to contact us at 609-317-1000 and simply tell our Customer Care department that you wish to discuss concerns from your last visit. We look forward to hearing from you!

This casino does not even deserve one star. By far, the worst casino in AC. Save yourself a waste of time and money and go somewhere else. Borgata is full of miserable employees. My biggest pet peeve is someone who works with people being miserable, well....they are everywhere in this casino. Half of the "security guards" are goofing off with each other and not doing their jobs and the other half is arresting people for pure entertainment or bc the casino is hurting and needs the money. The bouncers/ ID checkers at "the MIXX" were RUDE as can be. Also overheard some cops saying that they enjoy smashing girls faces into the walls when they are making arrests....so yeah, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! This is the most pathetic excuse for a casino EVER. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
