Register by today, July 30 @ 6:00pm, to receive the Early Bird discount to face time with Theatre A Go-Go!

Has screen time taken over from face time among youth?
There is no question that the digital realm provides unlimited access to information that can bolster education. But information is just that, an accumulation of facts, which on their own, may not stick in the brain. There is also less physical and social activity involved in simply staring at a screen or watching a program.
There is an important social aspect to traditional learning. The most powerful way to actually learn is to meet the expert face to face who is doing the work, who can put the information into context, give it meaning, even make it personal. A recent study by the Canadian Paediatric Society says the best learning environment for children is through interacting. This develops interpersonal and motor skills and language, and early learning is most efficient and more enriching when done in real time with a real person.

At Theatre A Go-Go, we cultivate that personal connection and offer an opportunity to meet face to face, develop friendships and improve knowledge through sharing and communicating on a personal level.
Register your loved one(s) this summer and be refreshed as they have fun while gaining confidence in physical, emotional and verbal literacy!

GIVE THE GIFT of new learning experiences that incite laughter and an eagerness to grow. Register today for Theatre A Go-Go summer Drama Camps and receive the Early Bird discount.

At Theatre A Go-Go children have the opportunity to celebrate the richness and depth of human expression in all of its forms. Through creative expression students learn to comprehend our world better and are therefore better equipped to navigate the challenges they might be faced with.

"I have long believed in the important role that music and the arts can play in helping students learn, achieve, and succeed. Education in theatre, dance and the visual arts is one of the most creative ways we have to find the gold that is buried just beneath the surface. They (children) have an enthusiasm for life, a spark of creativity and vivid imagination that need training…training that prepares them to become confident young men and women." - Former Secretary of Education, Richard Riley
Join us this August as we discover the gold buried just beneath the surface.

Change begins with understanding and understanding begins by identifying oneself with another person: in a word, empathy. The arts enable us to put ourselves in the minds, eyes, ears and hearts of other human beings.

I have come to believe that a great teacher is a great artist and that there are as few as there are any other great artists. Teaching might even be the greatest of the arts since the medium is the human mind and spirit.
