Never ever use these stand alone machines. They are perfect for skimming cards. Warwick you advertise this machine like it is 1980.

Fun Fact Friday! In the 1950s, the Tip Top Tap gained nationwide recognition when radio personality Don McNeil broadcasted his show from the lounge. “The Breakfast Club with Don McNeil” aired on the ABC Radio Network until 1968, and was heard on more than 400 radio stations across the country. The hour-long programs featured celebrities, songs, music and – most importantly – humor! http://bit.ly/1xPqrZP

My husband took me to Chicago for my 35th birthday and chose this hotel. He said he know my taste and believe it would fit my style. Well he was dead on. This hotel is BEAUTIFUL, clean, and great hospitality. The rooms in my hotel was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The rooms are small but nice. Howver, tey don't offer a fridge. Hate the fact that there is no pool in the hotel.

Stayed at the Warwick from Thursday to Sunday. The great majority of the staff is friendly and available. Our room, however, was small. There is very little space to walk around. But worst of all, the wifi situation is ridiculously bad. There is no option for free wifi. They have two wifi plans readily available: One is for $10 and the other is for $15. The $15 option, of course, for a faster connection. I decided to sign up for it anyways because I had to do some work from the hotel and the following day tried to use it again and I had no access to the internet. It turned out that it was $10 (or $15) per day. It's insulting. That information is not available anywhere when signing up for the access plan. Overall, my stay was pleasant. The hotel lobby was beautiful and the front desk staff was very helpful in getting my room changed when I made booking mistake and at no extra charge. It is also in a very good location and in walking distance from the M-Line.

I enjoyed my stay here and many a work Xmas party. It's a little more old money fancy than is typically prefer, but I liked the location. The 'tip top tap' is now closed but the hotel bar is still nice. I accidentally left my Tiffany's bracelet on the alarm clock and it wasn't recovered from housekeeping which was disappointing.

The Allerton is a wonderful place to stay in Chicago. The rooms are neat and always clean. The staff is very courteous and go above and beyond what is expected of them to make sure guests feel welcomed and appreciated. On my last visit, November 2013 the day of the Christmas parade, the front desk agent remembered that I stayed there previously and welcomed me back. I asked if I could get a room with a view of Michigan Ave for the Christmas parade and he was able to secure that for me. I appreciate that he did the extra research for find a room that faced Michigan Ave. This is one way the Allerton sticks out among the crowd of other hotels in Chicago. Thanks for the great experience.

Overall good time. Stayed just one night in March of 2015. My only complaint is that the pillows are no where near comfortable, I barely slept all night and the sheets aren't all that soft.

Nice rooms, great housekeepers, very much enjoyed our stay and a great location. We had no problem getting around with easy access to cta trains and buses. Only negative is that there is a level 1 trauma center next door so you hear a lot of sirens, but it didnt keep us awake at night on the 7th floor and added to the "city noise" we country folk never hear.
