Wyedean has worked on various projects with the UK Army Cadets since 2012, and 2015 saw the release of the first Cadet helmet to be worn during training weekends, as well as at Easter, summer and autumn camps.
Although the helmet is non-ballistic, they are designed to look like the Mk7 helmet worn by soldiers in the British Army. And while the helmets themselves are black, each one is issued with a disruptive, pattern camouflage helmet cover, similar to those worn in the British Army which are also manufactured by Wyedean and feature the word CADET woven in red. The helmets are supplied with waterproof bags intended to hold up to 20 helmets, which makes them easily transportable. #Wyedean #Cadets #CadetHelmet #ProductDevelopment #UKArmyCadets #Helmet #Uniform #Supply #ACF http://ow.ly/vzvt30h8OSW

A cap tally is a black nylon ribbon which is usually tied into a bow on the left-hand side of a Royal Navy sailor’s cap. The tally is black with a gold inscription and usually bears the name of the ship to which the sailor belongs. During World War II the ship’s name was often left off the cap tally to protect the ship from any espionage. #CapTally #Tally #Ribbons #Mr&Mrs #WeddingCapTally #MadeToOrder http://ow.ly/zzzL30hMllU

A medal, is a small, flat and round piece of metal that has been sculpted and cast by marked insignia to signify recognition of military achievement. Medals often contain specific features to symbolize the regiment or achievement of the medal. The medal is often bought alongside a medal ribbon which attaches the medal plate to the lapel with ease. #Medal #Medals #MedalBars #MedalSliders #Honour #BritishArmy #MedalRibbon #WWII #WWI #RAF #VictoriaCross http://ow.ly/n4jF30hMl8F

A Lord-Lieutenant is a personal representative for the British monarch in each county of the United Kingdom. Today Lord Lieutenancy is mostly a ceremonial position, but historically they were responsible for organising the county’s militia. #LordLieutenant #RoyalFamily #Lieutenancy #DL #DeputyLieutenants #Military #Uniform #Tailoring http://ow.ly/mkIr30gZYGW

The Bradford Pals were the 16th and 18th Battalions of the West Yorkshire Regiment. The Pals regiments were units of men who lived, worked and socialised together. They then all signed up together. These units were raised early in the war as it was clear that Britain’s professional army was too small. #BradfordPals #WestYorkshireRegiment #ThePals #BritishArmy #FirstWorldWar #WWI #WorldWarOne http://ow.ly/64dD30hMfsy
