A most magical ,and wonderous spot. The property is beautiful with lovely gardens and a hammock I almost never left. Sitting one the rocks in the sun in the stream was heaven.Breakfasts were sumptuous, healthy and delicious ,great coffee! Karen is delightful and welcoming.A perfect spot for a short or long term visit to Woodstock.

Except for a somewhat nice and secluded territory, this place is a two-star motel at a price of a high-end one (we paid $180/night). The rooms are tiny and outdated. Wall A/C must be from 30 years ago - makes a lot of noise and doesn't cool the room at all. We had to turn it down and open the windows for the night. The breakfast is another sham. Looks like the bagels come from bakery that gives them out for free at the end of the day. There was nothing left in the buffet at 9:40am (breakfast is 9-11). All in all, if you are looking for a hipster and no frills place to stay you may just as well enjoy it. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

Our stay was wonderful. We stayed for one night at the end of June and the weather was beautiful. We sat and read on the porch which had a cool breeze. The products in the rooms were the quality of a 5 STAR hotel. I would definitely go back to stay.

We had a great time at the Woodstock inn. We rented out their cottage and our family thoroughly enjoyed it. The stream next to the property and the lawn area are breath taking. The cottage itself is very charming and personal. The place is a short walk from the Main Street and yet very quiet. Highly recommend it. Will be going back there

I stayed here on my first visit to Woodstock and the Woodstock Writer's Festival, when the town is swamped. They were full, but you'd never know it by the service and care, it was if I was the only one there. The rooms are delightful and cozy, with stained glass lamps at the bedside. The shower was nice and hot and everything was spotless. It wasn't nice enough out to sit and watch the Millstream go by, but I did anyway. Absolutely delightful - and good coffee brewing all day long.

Woodstock's creative environment is a perfect mix for our many festivals! Glad you were able to enjoy your time with us and hope you'll be back when the water is warmer and the stream side sitting is even more enjoyable!

Stayed the Cottage 7/16 with three people but could have easily accommodated 6; just beautiful, wood floors, 1 full bathroom, and one powder room off the living room (which is could accommodate 8 for drinks, spacious kitchen with pots, pans, etc if a fresh find screams a home cooked meal. The Cottage will provoke a desire to chuck your day job and move in permanently.
