You might be able to escape from Panem soon, but here are 9 films indieWire does NOT want to see be made into theme parks: http://ow.ly/xsjAn
Talk of a possible "Hunger Games" theme park has prompted us to think of all of the indie film-inspired theme parks we don't want to see.

Trainspotting a la Godard? These movie posters reimagine what might've been! http://ow.ly/xs2tR
Artist Peter Stults pondered "the films of a certain era belonging to another era and everything that would follow." Who would be stars? Who would be the director? How would the film be marketed?

This really makes you reconsider some of the more infamous movie quotes: http://ow.ly/xsgBY
Salutations, internet ne'erdowells. Since I was a lad, I have enjoyed fine cinema. In those days, films were written and performed properly. With a dignified vocabulary and diligent diction. Alas, those days have gone the…

What's wrong with the American Sitcom? Lack of conflict? http://ow.ly/xroBL
A few days ago, while blitzing my way through the back half of The Mindy Project’s second season, I realized something: The show was as formless as ever, and many of the characters lacked even the most basic of definitions. But when any of those characters, no matter how poorly conceived, entered a

I recently had the pleasure of taking MC 101: Editing Essentials with Media Composer 7 (Avid) at The Training Farm. The class was intentionally small (3), which made everyone feel very comfortable asking questions and requesting detailed explanations. Right off the bat, our instructor asked us to introduce ourselves and explain our backgrounds. Knowing this in addition to our goals for the course, he was able to tailor the 3-day workshop in a highly customized, personal way. You also get a GREAT textbook w/ practice DVDs to take home so you can continue practicing with a 30-day trial version of the Avid software. I am so happy I chose The Training Farm. Be sure to sign up for your course in advance to receive the early bird discount! It's a steal!!

I have taken courses over the years at the Training Farms and former SoHo Editors. I come all the way from Maine into Manhattan because not only the excellent training, but as important the instructors. This place always has top notch instructors that not only know the software inside the out but are professionals in their field. Their level of professionalism is unsurpassed from my experience. To get to work with professional editors, writers, sound engineers, and grammy award winners is really amazing! I really like how they show not only how to use soft are, but how it works for them in their field. Also they seem to really keep up with the latest information on the products and technology of what is "best of breed". I would highly recommend this company. I am going back to take more classes there for sure.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Training Farm. The level of expertise with my teacher was very high and his ability to teach the topics and make it fun and relevant was great. The best part of the class was the exercises which really nailed in the lectures. Each topic had hands on exercises that reinforced all topics. The class sizes were small so the personal attention was very helpful. I recommend The Training Farm to any IT professional of any level who is looking to further their knowledge of Mac OS and Apple products alike

I had an excellent experience at The Training Farm. The facilities were great, and the instructor was top notch. I have 20 years professional experience in the field of digital imaging, and The Training Farm was exactly the right place to build upon my skills and provide me with new tools to expand the services I can provide my clients. I will definitely take additional courses at The Training Farm, and I give The Training Farm my full endorsement and recommendation.
