We are officially super fast! This week our fibre-optic broadband connection was installed. Giving us 21st Century bandwidth and speeds for our customers!

As a rural business in a national park setting this great enhancement to our free internet offering was only possible due to significant support from the government and the EU to build the infrastructure!

We hope all our guests enjoy the 70% improvement in download speeds!

What a great few days of glorious sunshine! Spring has been wonderful this year. Up in Feizor Wood (a short walk away) we have a sea of Bluebells, mingled with Wild Garlic, Orchids and Primroses.

Absolutely stunning and the smell is just heaven!

Room 3 - Oxenber was given a full refurbishment and the official photos are now complete. The room has been given the full treatment and redecorated with a great new colour scheme, new carpets and new bathroom.

We have been experimenting with a canopy over the bed, what do you think?

We got a great mention in this Saturday's Daily Mail in an article about the forthcoming Le Tour Yorkshire Grand Depart passing through the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Seems our breakfasts were a real hit!

We still have a few rooms left if you're looking for a base during that weekend!

Our "Garden Lounge" looking out into some gentle spring sunshine. The room has been refreshed and repainted recently and is a popular spot for guests to sit and enjoy the recent spring weather and lovely views of the Burn Moor fells!

We stayed their for a family celebration and thought it was an absolutely excellent hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were comfortable and nicely individual with nice touches such as the fresh milk and home cooked shortbread eveery day. The food was excellent. If only more hotels could be like this!
