Many homeowners are concerned that rising interest rates could negatively effect home values. That makes sense as buyers will be able to afford less with higher mortgage rates. The good news is that history shows that an increase of rates usually coincide with a healthier economy, leading to strong homebuyer demand.

This fall will be a great time for homebuyers. We are currently seeing more homes on the market to choose from, less buyer competition, and longer market times. Some homes are still going quick with multiple offers, but the market has definitely loosened up, compared to a few months back giving buyers some leverage.
