The dinner and food was amazing and we have friends who are huge advocates of the resteraunt but my friend and I bothed used the valley parking and our stuff was ransacked and gone through very blatantly...I will not be intrusting them with my car EVER again.

The Spa costumer service is the worst service ever. Front desk staff are rude, the manager is arrogant and stuck up. Have no idea for what?! They should hired people with better atittude.

Have never stayed here as a guest, but one of my favourite spots in Miami to come and have a few drinks by the water. Forget the tacky Ocean Drive and Biscayne crowds. This has an unexpected subtle level of glamour you won't find anywhere else.

In the spirit of full disclosure, my review of The Standard is based on staying there for a business trip, a situation for which the hotel is not well suited. The rooms, motel-like in their outdoor access, are older, with a mid century feel. The crowd is young, European, and aspirational hip. Expect property-wide cigarette smoking and guests wandering around in robes. Onsite amenities include a hamam, sauna and steam room, fitness center, locker rooms, a 24 hour pool, juice bar, and boutique.

Their regular room was smaller than another hotels....but I guess they knew we wouldn't stayed at the room so much but hanging out at the pool and spa! Which were so great. Not so cheap for spa but it is very nice. and Lido is also great for Lunch and dinner. Small juice shop right by the door to garden was also awesome for breakfast !

The Standard Miami is just a wonderful spot for rest and relaxation. Although the bedrooms are a bit small and lack storage for longer stays, the showers were incredible (hot water with amazing pressure). Also, they offer a huge variety of spa services. Some are free to all guests - like there awesome hammam - while others are offered a la carte. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to purchase many treatments - I was only there for one night - but I was able to take an early morning yoga class on the dock. What a wonderful way to start the day! Their restaurant is also great, offering fresh and healthy options which are rare to find while on vacation. Can't wait to return!

Honestly the access to the common areas of the spa was one thing. However, the general appearance and overall expertise of the staff was below "Standard". I found myself wandering aimlessly for ten min to find the yoga class location that changed from upstairs to some mysterious deck. Amongst a pool that looked like it came out of a 1980's decorum magazine. Also, their was no valet staff awaiting the arrival or even the departure of guests. If you're looking for an over priced party hotel this is your spot fitted with a bleak view of the water. Sigh, I though this was going to be a game changer.
