The exceptional, beyond friendly service at the standard east village deserves the five stars alone. The rooms are beautiful and well designed for their size. The beds are extremely comfortable and then showers/bathrooms are incredible. You can tell that no detail was overlooked and everything is done correctly for the customer. I requested ice and a toothbrush and they both came within 3 minutes. The bar downstairs is busy and has delicious drinks, I unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy the food. If you are looking for a nice boutique room to stay in, this is it. If you are looking for a more high end bustling version I would say go to the standard high line.

We went for a costume party and it was wonderful. Loved the decor and ambiance, the staff were helpful and friendly, the drinks were perfection. It was so good I want to stay overnight in the near future.

Courteous service, tastefully appointed room, but bathroom door didn't close all the way, which was awkward with 5 other people in the room.

Great location for IBM Astor Place. Quirky decor. Friendly staff. Not impressed with the room. Tiny, no view, no iron -- but it was adequate for my needs and is a good fit for one person. Wouldn't object to staying again, but will try other properties in the future.

Great small cozy hotel but charge a premium for a visit here. Prices for this hotel is expensive. Like other hotels it has free wifi. It is kids friendly but I suggest going to the ace hotel if you have kids. Staffs are nice, friendly, professional and personal. Rooms are super clean and luxuries. Overall great hotel but not if your on a budget.
