We're getting excited about the Old Butter Roads Food Trail festival launching this weekend. As part of the festival we are open for a special tasting menu on Sunday, 6th May at 8pm (we don't usually open for dinner on Sundays!). The menu Martina has crafted features the members of the food trail in creative new ways - Bertha's Revenge Gin with K O'Connell Fish Merchants hake? Yes, please! Just wait until you see what she does with the Longueville House Beverages apple brandy! (These dishes are not on our regular menu.) Reservations are required and can be made by ringing Tricia on 021 4382825. Just a week to go before this unique event - Tasting Menu of the Old Butter Roads Food Trail. We're open on Sunday, May 6th at 8pm for this special menu tasting. Martina has created dishes featuring each of the members of the food trail. Dishes like Ballinwillin House Farm wild boar and mushroom tortellini with onion purée; K O'Connell Fish Merchants Pan-Fried Hake with Bertha's Revenge Gin, Jerusalem artichoke and mussel velouté, and Annabella Farm spinach; and Michael Twomey Butchers Angus aged rib eye with O'Briens Free Range Eggs béarnaise, Mc Carthy's of Kanturk beef dripping chips, and onion confit ... just to name a few. Reservations required. We have a few spaces left. Please ring Tricia on 021 4382825 for your reservation. €60 per person.
