Got the Chilled Shellfish Platter and it was amazing. Everything was so fresh it legitimately tasted like they just caught the shellfish earlier that day and then served them up to me later at lunch. It came with 1 of each of the following: clam on a half shell, oyster on a half shell (these 2 were raw, as expected), a giant shrimp tail, a bowl of chopped up crab meat, and half of a lobster split down the middle and gutted on top where one claw was placed. The shrimp, crab meat and lobster were steamed and then chilled after. There was one more bowl containing something I don't know the name of but it too was delicious. Everything came placed on a bowl filled with ice and different sauces. The cocktail sauce that's generally served with shrimp was very tasty. There were other sauces but I didn't know their names either. And to top it all off it's right in Rockefeller Center level with ice skating rink. They placed me right up to the window so the view was beautiful. This was certainly one of my better restaurant going events. Highly recommend.

Great hummus and bread! Fun, lively atmosphere. Nice dining for lunch! I highly recommend this place for people who do not get a chance to go to NYC too often. They will enjoy the sights to see and the basic tasty cuisine!

My daughter and son in law were married at Rockefeller Center and we held their reception at the Sea Grille. When I tell you that the food and the wine went beyond our expectations, that is an understatement. The staff were professional and courteous in every manner, imaginable.Needless to say the ambiance was non-parallel, with the beautiful holiday decor and with the Tree and the skaters in view. The best description I can offer is one made by a guest, "the whole thing was just magical."

Had lunch. This is a nice, upscale, modern architecture restaurant that looks out onto the skating rink at Rockefeller Center. Single, date, or business lunch, Sea Grill will work for all. Healthy fresh menu. Top service. Not overpriced. You will be please. A good call when in the area. Would recommend. Look for the street level elevator that will take you down to The Sea Grill.

For $300 for two people, both my dining companion and I should not have been as sick as we were after eating here. Food poisoning is never fun. That big thing aside, the food wasn't very good. The scallops were the size of dimes, the turkey had no flavor at all. The crab cake was almost too salty to eat, and served in a fresh out of the store bought bottle of mustard! The waiter was rude, condescending, and not very attentive. Save your money and time, go anywhere else, even an EMPTY Chinese restaurant isn't likely to make you as sick as this place will, and won't cost as much.

One of the better dinners I have had in awhile. The view provides a very different experience than that of most pricy NYC restaurants. I ordered oysters, crab cakes and the lobster mac and cheese. Everything was fresh (oysters) and exceptionally delicious. P.S. I have been told that their steaks are are superb. I guess I'll have come back soon to put that claim to the test. : )

We went there for restaurant week 2014. The setting was perfect on that humid day. It was indoors right in front of an open walk out to the outdoor patio ( skating rink during winter ). The food was delicious, not over done or overwhelmed with flavor like how seafood should be done. I would go there again even if not restaurant week.
