My husband and I eloped at the Roosevelt Inn in January 2014 and we had the best experience. The Inn is a beautiful and intimate setting for a winter elopement. The whole process was very easy and stress free. They know many other wedding services in CDA, they provided great recommendations for us and worked well with the other vendors. They were so warm and welcoming, it felt like visiting family. They also are dog friendly and were were so happy to be able to have our overgrown puppy with us that day. :) If we were to do the whole thing over again we would do exactly the same thing. Many thanks for the wonderful day!

My husband and I were here over New Years for a 3 night stay and had a wonderful time! The breakfast was very tasty and the staff very friendly. Everything was maintained well and very clean. We loved the old historic building and hoq quiet and relaxing it was. The location is great being so close to everything downtown we mostly just walked everywhere! We would love to stay here again on another retreat.

Stayed at Roosevelt In for our Anniversary and it was great! We stayed in the Roosevelt Suite, which is the most beautiful of all the rooms and is victorian style themed. Beautiful antique furniture, a fire place. The staff was very friendly and great to chat with. Everything was very clean and taken care of. The breakfast buffet and the loaded omelet was so good. I recommend staying here for a romantic getaway in Coeur d'Alene.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Roosevelt Inn on NYE' 2013, and it was awesome! From the moment of our arrival and the tour of the facilities by Tina, one of the owners, we were enchanted by the history and care of restoration of this beautiful old school house. Our room was adorable and had a Christmas tree in it complete with lights on a timer. Surprisingly, I liked the idea of no TV! It was just fitting for an almost 100 year old room, and the free and very strong signaled WIFI more than makes up for this "lack of technology". Normally, John and Tina host a manager's greeting in the evening around 5 or 6, with wine and a lovely offering of a home-made dessert, but this NYE, the Inn had not only one, but two weddings to accommodate, so like the classy operation the Roosevelt Inn is...our complimentary wine and desert was brought to our room by John, along with a beautiful long stemmed rose on a silver platter...nice way to start the evening. We decided to enjoy a late night jacuzzi and sauna and as we were heading back to our room, we met with John, who even after officiating two weddings and all the other responsibilities of the evening, had the time to chat with us in a very relaxing manner...and this was past 1:30am! He reminded us of our breakfast times, and explained a little about all the home-made goodies that would be offered. I had no idea how good the home-made granola would be, along with the very fresh fruit salad, waffles, eggs made to order, sausage or bacon and potatoes. Are you kidding? The breakfast was every bit of a treat as was the accommodations. Oh, and I forgot to mention, we even had a lovely gal come to our room in the evening who brought us two chocolates from a local chocolate shop and offer to turn our bed down! Classy operation! Highly recommended!

It was amazing. From first arriving with roses and dessert waiting for us to a great breakfast to wonderful local wines in the evening. John is a great story teller, and we enjoyed meeting him, and his cook Jim. John was very knowledgeable about the area, and had great advice, and coupons too for the restaurants locally. We happened to have great weather, but no matter what the weather, we would have enjoyed the comfortable room, and warm hospitality. Thank you so much!
