Lovely Bed and Breakfast with a wonderful hard working hostess that wants to make your stay special. This wonderful oasis is with-in walking distance of all of the historic sites of this great city. Our lovely suite had a private entrance so that we could come and go. The candle light breakfast far exceeds any other establishment that we had looked at. The bed was plush with ironed linen. The amazing shower yearned for you to take one of those 30 minute showers. This wonderful hostess will help with any suggestions for dinner and sites to see. A delightful stay in a historic city!

My wife Nancy and I have stayed at Inn's all over the country, including Savannah. When I booked this trip, I wanted an Inn that was not only 5 star, there are many that make that claim, but also an Inn that had a personal touch. I visited Kathleen's website and it looked to be exactly what we were looking for. The Olde Savannah Inn did not disappoint. Kathleen has really captured the "Southern" charm. From the beautiful flowers and gardens outside to the exquisite decor of the interior, you immediately feel like you're home. Every day of our 4 day stay she made us feel special...exactly what I was looking for. I'm sure every review will rave of her excellent breakfasts because they are second to none! We stayed in one of the rooms on the lower level with no windows and never slept better. One morning my wife had to wake me up for 10:00 breakfast or I would have slept right through it! The best meal we had on our entire trip (Savannah, HH, and Charleston), Kathleen recommended and made the reservations for us at Elizabeth's. Don't miss the opportunity to dine there! Every afternoon we enjoyed a glass of wine on the rockers on the deck overlooking the rear garden. We spent $90 on the garden walk and had nicer flowers and gardens at the Inn. In summary; excellent decor, excellent food, excellent service, and you'll leave having a new friend. Thanks for everything Kathleen and see you next year.

The Olde Savannah Inn is the best bed and breakfast in Savannah. The service by the owner, Kathleen, was astounding. The Inn is beautiful and very well kept. Kathleen greets you so warmly and the decor is stunning. The home has remarkable custom made chandeliers designed by Kathleen. Just knowing that little detail gives you a hint of Kathleen's passion for her Inn. We stayed in the Bon Voyant room and it was extremely clean and beautiful. Perfect in every way. We had a private patio with a great fountain that could put you to sleep with the sound. The bed was unmatched and it was some of the best sleep I've had in a long time. All the linens, including bedding, towels, and robes, were divine. But I couldn't wait to get up and have Kathleen's delicious breakfast including my favorite the french press coffee! Overall Kathleen made our girl's trip to Savannah the highlight. She exerted so much warmth, care, and passion that we will definitely recommend and stay at The Olde Savannah Inn next time!!

The owner is highly unprofessional and rude. I have never seen a business owner treat customers like they were an inconvenience. Try the Dresser Palmer instead, my experience there was great.

Stay elsewhere. You've been warned. Highlights of our 2-night stay in the $400/night Versailles Court room at The Olde Savannah Inn: - The dog jumped up on our table during breakfast - The dog barked for about 5 minutes straight during breakfast - Kathleen told us a lovely story about how the previous owner was brutally shot and killed across the street, and how it was 'karma' and 'he had it coming to him' - The bathrobes are dingy and need to be replaced - The shower curtain is dingy and needs to be replaced - The slippers are clearly old and used, and need to be replaced - Kathleen voluntarily shared with us about 8 different ways in which she has had to 'cut back' - The ironed sheets were a nice touch, except for the fact that Kathleen constantly complained about all the ironing she has to do - There is no wine to drink in the evenings as advertised, only port, and Kathleen told us she purposely puts out the port 'because no one likes to drink port' - Kathleen twice mentioned the fact that she wants to sell the place so that she can move back to Boston, but just has to 'stick it out for a few more years' until the real estate market recovers - Why is there a huge fake Christmas tree in the living room in April? - I almost yakked during breakfast as Kathleen started talking about how bad she needs a pedicure and how 'the Asians don't do it right'. (Funniest part is - there was an Asian couple in the room)

The Olde Savannah Inn is the best bed and breakfast in Savannah by far. The hospitality and service by the owner, Kathleen, is unmatched. When you enter, you step into a beautiful and very well kept home. The decor is stunning and you are greeted so warmly by Kathleen! The tour was one of my favorite parts. When Kathleen tells the history of the home, you can feel the passion she has for it. The rooms were extremely clean. We stayed in the Bon Voyant room and it was spectacular. We loved our private patio, a good sized television, the most comfortable bed I may have ever slept in (extra thick foam and feather bedding are involved!!!) clean and nice robes/slippers, and superbly soft towels that you can tell are brand new. The breakfast every morning was hands down my favorite part. The first morning, we had white chocolate waffles with fresh strawberries and homemade whipped cream. The second, we had Kathleen's version of Eggs Benedict which was wonderful. Each day, a cup of fresh fruit, apple wood smoked thick cut bacon, sausage and the world's best french pressed coffee were served. The warmth and love that Kathleen exerts is amazing. You can tell that she puts everything into her business and works extremely hard. She always answered out (many at times) questions and gave great recommendations for food and sightseeing around town. We never felt out of place and loved every moment of our stay. The only thing I felt was wrong was that we didn't get to spend enough time in Savannah! It was perfect for a girl's trip and we can't wait to come back!!

We spent a week with Kathleen at the Olde Savannah Inn. Most b&b's have 2 innkeepers with staff..... She amazingly does it ALL!! Her time, effort and thoughtfulness shines through. It began when I called to make reservations as we laughed til we cried and talked on the phone for an hour as our phone call ended she said, "All you have to do is show up. Leave the rest to me". We arrived to her open arms welcoming us. Her perfect attention to detail left me gazing at the pure elegance everywhere I looked. Kathleen provided insightfulness to area events, made reservations for our carriage ride and was so thoughtful to take the perfect anniversary photos (I in my original wedding gown and he in tux). I lived in Charleston SC for years and always wanted to moved back. After my stay in Savannah I would love to live in Savannah. The charm, grace and elegance is just magnificent. I would love to go back for my 50th birthday next year! Thank you so very much Kathleen xoxo

What a wonderful surprise! My husband planned the trip to Savannah to celebrate our anniversary, and I didn't know where we were going until our arrival at The Olde Savannah Inn! Kathleen was a most gracious hostess, and was full of helpful hints and ideas for things to do during our visit. We stayed in the Versailles Court, which was incredibly elegant. The whole Inn has a French feel and is filled with beautiful furniture and accessories. Kathleen doesn't miss any detail! That also apples to the food - she takes great pains to ensure that you'll never have the same breakfast twice during your stay. The company was as great as the food, and we really enjoyed visiting with Kathleen and the other guests. We highly recommend The Olde Savannah Inn and can't wait to return!!
