This hotel is extremely nice. The staff is wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We had the continental breakfast here and it was delicious. I would highly recommend their breakfast for at least one morning. This hotel is also in a great location there are plenty of sights in close walking distance and tube station right across the park.

My company decided to throw a Christmas Party at the Montague Ski Lodge. The place is adorable - festive decorations, lights, even fake snow machine! Mulled wine was super delicious and the staff couldn't be more patient or professional, their service was top notch. The only draw back - way too many people. I don't know if my company decided to cram as many of us as possible, or the hotel didn't provide good estimation of how many guests can attend, but the area outside is small - will fit around 50 people comfortably. I think there were twice as many of us and we were packed like sardines, the staff serving the food struggled to make their way through the crowd. I decided to leave fairly early - just because of the crowd. In smaller numbers - that place would be perfect.

We stayed for 4 nights in August to celebrate my birthday. I had a nice card signed by the staff and some delicious chocolates waiting in our room upon arrival. This was our 2nd time staying at the Montague. The staff is very attentive and friendly and they do an excellent job of making sure our needs were met (and usually exceeded). They had a delicious sparkling lemonade just off the main lobby when we arrived back from a day of sightseeing. I think I froze the housekeeping staff with our American meat locker room temperature but they only warmed the room once during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

The best hotel on earth. I got in very early in the morning before my room was ready. I had just had an overnight flight from USA so they offered me to use the shower and change. When I returned at noon, my room was ready and contained my bags as well! Service is impecible. Easily the coziest stay, and best service I have ever received. The staff are eager to help and courteous. Every detail is done perfectly. I have stayed at many swanky 5 star hotels and they were all garbage compared to this hotel. No pretentious desk clerks. No oblivious bell boys. No half-done maid service. What the Montague lacks in size, it makes up for in quality and service. I chose this hotel because of the high rating, and reasonable rates. I will definitely be a repeat customer. I didn't know that this level of service existed. It has raised the bar.

The decor is absolutely amazing and the breakfast is a great way to start the day. The British Museum is right across the street and taxi cabs are only a short walk away. The room comfortably fits two and the staff is very attentive.

Went for afternoon tea here and found everything about it awesome. The area to the back is a quite oasis away from the busy london streets. All the food and drinks were really nice and the staff very accommodating. Even though we had some guests running late the staff were very patient and we never felt rushed. Perfect afternoon. Recommend the Smoked Almond cocktail.

Had afternoon tea there. Staff was very courteous and experience was very good, but overpriced. We had contemplated staying there. The people were extremely good, but you should be aware that there is no air conditioning, and the hotel is an older hotel. So the place has a great location for the British Museum but is overpriced. Cannot say that I would recommend it. My wife enjoyed the formal tea, but it did not come close to the tea at Victoria, Vancouver Island. So not a bad experience, but not four star.
