Pros: Cheaper than Motel 6! The rooms are clean, and look nice. It's almost got that new motel feel still. The amenities for the price are really good: pool, exercise room, hot tub, etc. Wed had a room with the bay view which was nice. BONUS: We didn't find any used panties in the room like we did at Motel 6 and I'm sure if we had a black light we'd only find a moderate amount of stored DNA. Cons: We can hear everything the upstairs people are doing. We're on the 2nd floor and the people above us on the third sound like they are trying to find a wall outlet for their hitachi vibrator or something, plus the gusty butt trumpet at 5:45 am was so awesome. You can hear the drunk people giggling inanely in the hall too. The view would be totally great if it weren't for the TOMB's (Tweakers On Mountain Bikes) riding down the esplanade right outside our window talking about what tweakers talk about in the middle of the night an early am (meth, picking up cans, stealing stuff to sell and buy meth, etc). The real thing that made me dock them a star and only give it a 4 is the fact that the beds are rock hard. The yurt mattresses at Oregon State Parks have more cushion, and I seem to remember taking a nap on a stone slab once that was softer.

I am not sure what happened to the Mill, the last few years it has really been bad,no shows/concerts or any real entertainment, used to be a great place to have some fun,the slots are terrible you see a few jackpots but nothing like it was,you could hit a nice jackpot and have another before the girls got back to pay you for the first one then they would take your picture, the place would be packed now there is hardly anyone in there unless there is something free being given away then everybody leaves after, the drawing barrel is maybe a quarter full for drawings,as a visitor I would give it maybe 1 star,I noticed a few new games but as they say you can put a pretty bow on a dirty pig it"s still going to be a dirty pig, rarely coming back.

Spent a weekend here during a Barbecue Contest the Casino was hosting. The hotel is very clean. Soft comfortable beds. Lots of space in the room making it easy for two people to get ready for their day. Easy access to the casino, four different venues to grab a bite or a drink. I also saw an indoor pool and an exercise room that looks out over Coos Bay. There is also a nice boardwalk out back to stroll along and take in the scenery.

Thank you Dave. We are so happy you had a good time and we hope you come back and stay with us again.

Stay away from this dump - I tried to stay there for a weekend get-away. Found bed bugs and other things crawling all over the room! Front desk said they would work on another room - we tried out the so called buffet. Its more like food from McDonalds. Looks like most of the food service workers are ex-cons by their looks - tats, rings, fingers missing ect.... Skipped that and tried the dining room - with only a few servers it took a bit to get seated. After waiting 28 minutes for our food we left. Went to the front desk & got out stuff to leave for good. Very scary. I've heard the same thing from hundreds of others on various blogs about this same issues. Save the nightmare & drive up the coast a few hours.

Loved the hotel! Room was clean and quiet. Gambling was intimate. Staff seemed friendly.

keep in mind this is a casino. Not only do you gamble at the slots, you gamble with the food and service. Either way the house always wins and will get your money without giving much back

We have stayed at The Mill RV Park a number of times now, and our family has always come away happy. The staff has always been helpful, and friendly in all of our dealings with them. The facilities are clean and in good condition, with a nice view of the bay. Good value for the dollar. The only reason I am not giving them a 5 star rating is that many of the sites are really over lighted as the park is next to the casino parking lot, and it is fairly close to the major north/south road through Coos Bay/North Bend. We will continue to stay there whenever we pull the trailer to the Coos Bay area.
