“Would You Be Open
To New Customer Leads,

…On A Pay-As-You-Go Basis?”

Hello Dr. Maercks,

My name is Jesus and I own the website RhinoplastyMiami.net. This site gets continuous interested traffic every day and throws off plenty of good customer leads….in fact, it should grow even busier in the coming months.

For a limited time, I can make a business like yours a Very Special Offer:

1.You can advertise your services on the site for a small Pay-as-You-Go Monthly fee. You’d  receive extensive exposure to these targeted visitors and potential customers.

2. OR, you can be provided directly with customer leads as they fill out our “Contact Me” form online.

In any case, our marketing organization will only accept a few companies into this Lead Program to avoid any possible saturation.

I wanted to give you an opportunity to respond to this offer, before we make it available to other companies in your area. On our website below, you will find a list of keywords that we currently have ranking on page 1 of Google. We have done all the hard work of ranking the keyword, all you simply have to do is rent out the website, and reap the benefits of all potential leads. We look forward to bringing you a lot of leads and making you tons of money this year. Wishing you the very best.

Sincerely,
Jesus M. Magris

"A breast should not be widely separated from its pair. It should not have sharply defined edges. The breast is a symbol of femininity that should have a soft gentle slope, unidentifiable edges and proud but soft inferior definition. Breasts should proudly rest in front of the woman, not at their sides- this was the inspiration for the Cold-Subfascial Breast Augmentation"

INNOVATION AND BEING WRONG

Recently a grateful repeat patient of mine asked me "what is your secret to innovation?" She inquired as to how I discover the unique techniques and principles that I offer in my practice and was perplexed as to why others do not perform things in a similar way after having several different procedures in my practice. When she asked me "How do you do it?" I replied that I constantly remind myself that I know nothing. She laughed with a frown thinking I was being sarcastic and egocentric. I too laughed and explained that I was being serious.

Almost like a nonstop meditation mantra going through my head and perhaps a touch of hidden humility and self-consciousness, I live my life telling myself that I am wrong and I do not understand things. I do not do this in a self-punishing mean manner most of the time, as I do get into ruts where I torture myself. Rather I constantly question what I think and see just as I question what I read and what other people say. In fact believe it or not, I am probably harder on my own thoughts, statements and presumptions that any other's.

When the null hypothesis is that assumptions are wrong, one is forced to look outside themselves and the cozy blanket of dogmatic practice and see the world a little more bare and true. The answers are always right in front of us, humans just have a tendency to create a screen play between their eyes and the world. Most of the time we are watching a movie created by id and ego with materials from our minds experiences and teachings. I think all the voices in my head are unreliable sources and try to look beyond them and make them prove themselves- when you get in the habit of doing this, the voices start behaving cleaner and cleaner and become closer to reflections of the world right in front of us.

Like most everything in life it is like training a puppy- they will exhibit all kinds of undesirable behavior until they realize a said behavior is a dead end- it does not lead to love attention or reward. They quickly abandon those behaviors permanently in favor of others that open doors to more love, attention and reward. Treating your mind like a puppy and habitually challenging the ideas it produces trains it that id generated fantasy is a dead end. Quickly the mind tires of generating ideas that are immediately thrown in the trash and turns down the fictitious screenplay. This immediately allows clearer perception of the world around oneself. New ideas are generated that are less comfortable for the psyche and its expectations. These ideas survive the challenge longer and longer and pretty soon the "puppy" ones mind is is sitting at attention generating clean thoughts and wagging its tail in pride soaking up the reward of being a "good mind puppy."

The answers to our questions are always right in front of us, we just need to always try to see past ourselves, which in my opinion is the hardest thing about being human. Having a hard time doing this? Here is an easy step into it. Sit down and think about your world view and decisions a decade ago or even several decades in the past. If you are like most honest people you will think the way you approached some problem, person or challenge was wrong, immature or could have been a lot better. You will also probably realize that the person you were at that moment was 100% certain and unwavering that they were absolutely right and justified. Meditate on this a moment and you will certainly come to the conclusion "I really didn't know a thing about that." Now the harder part- stay in that moment where you can comfortably admit that "the person you WERE was so silly for thinking they were right" and bridge the thought by realizing and internalizing that today you are the SAME person.
. You are the same person in the manner that your internal psyche is still telling you that you are justified, knowledgeable and correct in all your actions and it is very likely that the you in ten years would have the same head shaking reaction to your actions of today.

Not easy to swallow but if you can, you are well on your way to "unselfing" the world around you and seeing it as more of what it is. If you can internalize these thoughts, it just happens without discomfort or any negative association. Once internalized, daily struggles seem less complex, mental fatigue improves, negative thoughts towards oneself and others dissipate and "being happy" isnt something that requires effort, goals or actions. Now the world is in front of you and solutions present themselves every time you consider a problem. This is how I innovate. It cannot happen without a cleaned up mind. In my opinion most new ideas stem from "dirty minds" and are propagated easily by getting established as "group thought."

I do things differently because I know I'm wrong and limited inherently as a human being. I also know that when I push myself out of the way, there is an amazing world out there full of potential. In the cleaned up world it just becomes obvious that there are better ways of doing things and the energy it brings is much more comforting than the stale musty blanket of dogma and group thought.

From the first phone call to the last follow up appointment The Maerck's Institute provided excellent care for my wife. As a testament to Dr Maerck's work the number of "who is her surgeon and what is his contact information' Dr. Rian' s eye for symmetry and vision is absolutely stunning. If you could see the end results he gave my already beautiful, now stunning wife. Go for a consultation. You will not be disappointed, rather thankful that he saved you time. His institute is an all inclusive stop for all your cosmetic enhancements.

I found Dr. Maercks by sheer serendipity. I had already chosen a surgeon, but because I was taking a medication that would inhibit the healing process, I had to postpone surgery for 6 months. I had chosen silicone implants to be placed under the muscle via an inframammory incision. This was concerning to me, as I scar easily. Years ago I had full ACL reconstruction by a surgeon who was more interested in the inside of my knee than the atrocious scar he left behind. So this was a sensitive issue for me. I did some additional research on surgeons who offered innovative ways to minimize scarring, taking care to keep the aesthetic procedure, aesthetic. Enter Dr. Rian Maercks. I found a few YouTube videos of his detailing the Cold Subfascial technique. His philosophy and approach resonated with me, so I scheduled a consultation by phone. My entire experience with Dr. Maercks has been punctuated by his incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and thoughful assistant, Obadiah. Both Dr. Maercks and Obadiah answered every question I had. I felt they were genuinely evaluating my candidacy as a patient. When I met Dr. Maercks for my physical exam prior to surgery, it felt like a reunion of friends. In a conversational way, he reconfirmed my medical history in a series of questions, walked me through the technique again, and discussed the actual implant and sizing. I'm happy to report that I had a successful Cold Subfascial breast augmentation. While it's still early, the results appear to be amazing, as expected. Minimal pain, standard swelling, and disappearing scars in the armpit. You will have your own reasons for choosing a specific surgeon. I chose Dr. Maercks for several reasons: 1. His transparency. His website and staff clearly explain his technique and itemize his credentials. They didn't only explain the technique, but also acknowledge its rarity, innovation, and criticisms. 2. His staff. 80%-90% of any medical experience is with a doctor's staff. I have "fired" great doctors because of their incompetent, thoughtless, rude, or dismissive staff. Obadiah is an exceptional human being who is clearly focused on my comfort and understanding. 3. His training. Dr. Maercks' credentials include undergraduate and medical degrees from a stellar institution, and he continued his education via international fellowships and apprenticeships. As a woman of color, it was imperative that I have a surgeon versed in ethnically diverse skin and body types. I know this type of exposure impacts perspective and performance. 4. His passion and philosophy. Cosmetic surgery is about aesthetic result. Period. The fact that Dr. Maercks' techniques are designed to combat asymmetry and scarring, while producing a long lasting, natural looking result, sold me. It is clear that he loves what he does, and is passionate about educating his clients and making them happy. 5. His realness. It may seem strange to talk about "real" when getting cosmetic surgery, but Dr. Maercks has a sincerity that is very reassuring. I didn't feel "charmed" or "smooth talked" by him. IMPORTANT NOTE: My initially scheduled surgery was cancelled, in the OR, because my blood pressure had spiked too high. Dr. Maercks said he was not comfortable putting me under and conducting major surgery. He said, "I know we're all really excited to do this for you, and you came a long way. But I'm a doctor first." This man got on his cell phone and called personal cardiac physician friends, asking them to come and see me. Then he called Mt. Sinai Hospital directly. At the hospital, I was seen by several physicians and nurses. Every one of them was impressed by Dr. Maercks' insistance that we not operate, but instead immediately address this critical and unexpected health issue. They each expressed that in Miami, so many unscrupulous doctors would have proceeded with the surgery anyway (they'd experienced the results of this reckless behavior first hand). One doctor was so impressed, she asked for his name and number to schedule a consultation of her own.

No wonder why he is still using the same 2-3 before and after pictures since 2009, he has no pictures! And that never felt right to me. Truth is he is a Criminal who gave me just a few pills to undergo a liposuction, no anesthesia, there was blood on the floor, totally unprofessional. Didn't even give me a pressure waist garment for post surgery UNTIL DAYS AFTER BECAUSE HE FORGOT! My abdomen has now bumps and hallow spots due to a poor job of unexperienced "surgeon" who always seems to change locations and go ghost. When I showed the abnormalities to him, he said I already had that before, hmm no I did NOT. He became extremely dismissive and disrespectful even telling me I could not be his patient anymore lol I should've known it was a sign when I saw the Non liability panel on his wall...but he's really good at talking and persuading so I went for it. Needless to say 90% of his reviews are entirely fake. I'm just glad I didn't lose my life having surgery with someone so unprofessional who didn't even have a nurse as surgery assistant but HIS RECEPTIONIST!! Who also left him.

Dear AB it certainly sounds like you have found the wrong practice to comment on. We have many updated pictures with long follow up available. We typically perform liposuction under general anesthesia and in the right patient offer local tumescent anesthesia with or without oral anxiolysis. These are pretty standard options. Patients are always educated in advance as to the postoperative care relating to their procedure and need for compressive garments after liposuction. They are given the option of buying the expensive medical grade through us of purchasing their own which is to be brought in at the time of surgery. As far as a non-liability panel, I like the majority of plastic surgeons in Florida have elected not to carry Malpractice insurance and am compliant with state regulations in doing so including a plainly visible document with verbiage prescribed by the state. As far as reviews being fake this is simply fiction. As far as changing locations, my initial offices six years ago were on Arthur Godfrey on Miami Beach while I was building my surgery center in design district. These are the only two locals I have practiced in. I have been at The Maercks Institute for over three years and I have always been present on the web with means of contact and the same phone number throughout. I have never paused or stopped my practice. I hope this addresses your concerns! If you are indeed a patient I have treated, I encourage you to come into the office to discuss any issues you might have. If this is another fictitious negative review I would encourage you to remove it as eventually it will catch up with you. All the best, Rian A. Maercks M.D.

I had also never suspected that Dr. Maercks had a injectable filler intervention because he looks extremely natural even 4 years after his first and only treatment. Obviously, I had to see the before photos on his website. I was super surprised by his transformation and how natural his results looked. So.. I went for it! After just one aesthetic facial balancing treatment, a facial harmonizing technique pioneered by Dr. Rian Maercks, I was able to experience my life and face with more symmetry and perfection. What that means in normal words is that my eyes no longer look sunken in and tired, my nose is straighter, my lips look more even and full. My results look and feel natural. At The Maercks Institute there is minor swelling post treatment, no pain, no botched looks, and Dr. Maercks is practically perfect at preventing bruises. Because hyaluronic acid (the main component in the filler) is a naturally occurring compound found all over the human body, the chance of having a negative reaction is essentially nonexistent. I have no regrets, except that I didn't do it sooner. Loved my face before but I love it even more now.

I have been a patient of Dr. Maercks for three years now; I appreciate his aesthetic, as the results are always natural; I have been impressed with the results, including next to no pain, swelling or bruising.
