In April, 2015 Mr. Coulter was the attorney for my grandson in a rather complicated traffic violation case. He did an excellent job and my grandson got a not guilty verdict. He gathered witnesses, carefully investigated the case, and was very well prepared. We will be eternally grateful for his professionalism and help to us.

Highly professional staff and attorneys. I was well informed throughout the entire process and couldn't ask for a better outcome for my case.

Mark Germain does not honor his word. He epitomizes the stereotype of ambulance chasing, fast talking lawyers. Do not use this firm unless you are prepared for them to back out midway. They will take your money and run leaving you with nothing.
Response from the owner - 2 years ago
The above review posted by the individual identifying himself as Shane Wilson is unfortunately the inherent risk that we all take by putting ourselves and/or our businesses out on the internet for public view and consumption. It need be stated that no attorney from the Law Offices of Germain and Coulter has ever represented any individual by the name of Shane Wilson. Moreover, the description within said review of Mr. Germain is such a negative embellishment and displacement of the truth that we dismiss it as being nothing more than a tasteless fraud. We realize that is has been written by a competitor within the legal community whom has attempted to disparage our firm rather than ply themselves to their trade in a positive manor with dignity and respect for the profession as we have and continue to do. And to that individual we state simply, “shame on you”. Rather than demand that this review be taken down, the Law Offices of Germain and Coulter has chosen to allow it to stand as an example of those individuals in this world that attempt to disgrace others out of jealousy and without having the courage or fortitude to disclose their identity. We allow it to stand as motivation to all of those that are striving to fight the good fight. Here at Germain and Coulter, we will continue to fight for individual civil liberties, to establish justice, as to ensure that our clients are treated fairly under the eyes of the law regardless of the obstacles in front of them. We take great pride in our work ethic, our relationships with our clients, and our results. We believe that the body of our work and accomplishments speaks for itself.

Hired Mark he was almost always late to court and once missed it made me look stupid in the court room. Seemed to work more for the state attorney than me the client. He heard the recording and knew it wasn't me he said but still kept telling me I'd lose trial so to take the deal.On trial day I kept asking him if he could beat the charges he said he couldn't and kept offering me lower and lower plead bargains. So i ended up taking the plea because i wasn't feeling confident with a lawyer who's not trying to fight for me. Then after he coerced me into taking the plea and I signed it and am waiting for my paperwork he tells me with a stupid grin on his face he says he's 99 percent sure he would have beat that.I don't understand stand how he can still live with himself as a lawyer after making an innocent man do time. Also had other pending charges fired him because he was offering me 3 to 5 years before we even went to court so I hired Bross and within months charges were dismissed.

NOT GUILTY! For me, those were a life changing two words. I talked to half a dozen attorneys before calling Mr. Germain's office and not only did he take my call on the spot, (the only one to do so) but he had my arrest information already pulled up when his legal assistant transferred the call. He was also the only one who showed a genuine interest, and even excitement, about taking my case. No BS, he didn't try to gouge me, and most important I walked away from the court house a free man. And for that there is no greater recommendation that can be made. Thanks for everything, my freedom is owed to Mark Germain and his team.

Domestic violence charges under Florida law are taken extremely seriously and can result in harsh punishments. Unfortunately, it is possible for a person to falsely accuse their spouse of domestic violence to get ahead in a divorce or child custody hearing. It is important to remember that a charge does not necessarily mean a conviction will follow and an experienced defense attorney can fight these charges on your behalf.

The Law Office of Germain & Coulter understands how to aggressively defend against these serious accusations and will fight hard for favorable outcomes such as case dismissal. #domesticviolence   #Melbourne

Shimeek D. Gridine, who received 70 years in prison without parole for an attempted murder he made at that age of 14, will receive a new sentencing hearing, ordered by the Florida Supreme Court. In 2010, the federal court barred sentences of life without parole for juveniles who are convicted of non-homicide crimes. In Gridine’s case, the court ruled that his sentence “is unconstitutional because it fails to provide him with a meaningful opportunity for early release based upon a demonstration of his maturity and rehabilitation.” This is among one of the four related decision by the Florida Supreme Court on juvenile sentencing.

On Thursday, the Florida court also stated that a 2012 ruling that said juveniles who commit murder cannot automatically be sentenced to life without parole will be applied retroactively and defendants could apply for reconsideration. #juvenilesentencing   #Florida

The Florida Sheriff’s Association announced that they would only support a medical marijuana bill that allowed non-smokable marijuana along with other strict guidelines.

In response, State Rep. Greg Stuebe filled a bill with the House of Representatives on Tuesday that would only allow cannabis in non-smokable forms and only allow its use for certain illnesses. The bill clearly states that marijuana could not be used for severe or persistent pain.

Critics of the new bill claim that it should not list specific diseases and that it does not come close to helping patients with medical conditions that many studies have shown would benefit from marijuana treatment. #medicalmarijuana #Florida
State Rep. Greg Steube, R-Sarasota, filed a bill Tuesday with the Florida House of Representatives to legalize medical marijuana under strict provisions, with a few key differences from a state Senate proposal.

On Monday, a #Florida lawmaker filed a bill that would allow people who are licensed to carry concealed weapons on the campuses of state colleges and universities.

Supporters of the bill claim that the current “Gun-Free-Zone” policies are ineffective because criminals are not the ones abiding by these rules and the policies are preventing victims the ability to defend themselves. Supporters also point out that the Constitution gives you the right to self-defense and that these policies are inhibiting citizens from exercising their rights.

Opponents of the bill claim that the answer to guns isn't more guns and instead additional security should be added to college campuses. #concealedweapons

A recent string of bizarre incidents in the Sunshine State can be attributed to the increasingly popular synthetic drug known as Flakka. The substance is usually made overseas from countries such as China and Pakistan and available on the streets for $5 or less a vial. The active ingredient in Flakka, alpha-PVP, is currently on the U.S Drug Enforcement Administration’s list of substances that are likely to be abused. While some reports of the substance were reported in other states, Florida seems to be the state where the drug is most prevalent. #Flakka   #Florida
A common element in some bizarre incidents in Florida in the last few months? Flakka.

Important recall information. Thanks for sharing +Clearwater Personal Injury Law Firm Dolman Law Group (727) 451-6900

Product Recalls of the Week
It’s a long line of liability when it comes to a product recall case. If you’re injured by a product, responsibility for the injuries will likely be placed directly on the company that released the item for sale. However, that doesn’t mean they’re unable to recover as well.

While marijuana reform is picking up across the country, the substance is still completely illegal under Florida law. Possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis is considered a first degree misdemeanor and punishable by a $1,000 fine, up to 12 months county imprisonment and/or a 2 year driver’s license suspension.

If you are accused of possession of marijuana, it is important to consult with a defense attorney. An experienced attorney understands Florida’s drug laws and can find weakness in the prosecution’s case and fight for favorable outcomes, including case dismissal and pretrial diversion programs. #marijuana   #Melbourne   #Florida

+Morris Law Firm, P.A. Yes, I think it's just a matter of time. I'm in Arizona where we only needed a majority ballot vote to approve Medical Marijuana. That happened in 2010.  For now there are efforts to pass recreational Marijuana in place, but still being thwarted.

While a change to Florida's stance on #marijuanalegalization  is likely on the horizon this year, cannabis possession still remains a very serious criminal offense. Learn more about the current law and how our law firm can help you overcome the charges you or your loved one face.
