I didn't think it was wonderful. Some of the acting was excellent. Screen play was excellent. Story was not believable. The whole world just mindlessly does what it's told. All citizens are gutless. Is Donald Sutherland Ruler for Life?
Some citizens are heroically gutless, but in a world where
the government simply tells everyone what to do, they do it. There
is no morality and no purpose to anyone's lives. The background and foundation of the movie is a very depressing view of any conceivable
future. What kind of people are mindless robots as depicted in "Hunger Games"?
If someone spoke on that issue in this thread, I didn't see it.
