A new exhibition opens tomorrow at #Kirkland Arts Center. "Artists Collect" features works of art from the small, private collections of artists, displayed next to artwork by the collector. Through March 4.
This show explores artists' collections and how these pieces may inform or be informed by their personal aesthetics, exploring the dialogue between the two.

Had a wonderful lunch at Trellis. Eric our server was gracious and knowledgeable. Not only were our courses beautiful they were also scrumptious. We'll be back soon.

Smaller hotel in a good neighborhood. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean but the air conditioner was a little bit loud.

We visited trellis at the Heathman for afternoon tea. One member of my group has a very restrictive diet, and the Heathman chef was very great about accommodating her which was a definite plus especially compared to other local tea houses. That said, overall the tea service was just OK not great. The scones weren't even warm! We had to remind the waiter several times to bring milk and sugar with our tea! I would likely choose the Fairmont or Sorrento for tea in the future instead, were I with a party of omnivores or even conventional vegetarians/vegans/gluten-intolerants.
