Life seems harsh, tho I agree with stiff penalties if hacks are used in a situation where harm can be done to the general public.  Doing something that causes a wreck on a busy interstate can cause a whole lot of damage, death, and injury.

However there must be provisions to allow researchers to explore this area, else progress will not be made, nor will security issues be fully understood and addressed.  If done in a closed circuit, with basic safety precautions, it should be perfectly legal.

Ridiculous… So he copied the content of a crypto-blog from 2013 and pasted the content on his own blog (2016)... Really Satoshi? . Then, he claims to be the creator of the cryptocurrency “Bitcoin” in the Cyberspace... ( “Did Satoshi Steal My Blog Post?” https://medium.com/@jprichardson/did-satoshi-steal-my-blog-post-76a68cdda4f3#.t63qkc96h ) ... There’s a very simple and easy way for Wright to definitely prove that he is Satoshi Nakamoto, and It’s called the Zero Knowledge Proof. To sum up, If he really wanted to prove it to us, he should need to sign a message saying 'Craig Wright is Satoshi signed 2016-05-03' using the genesis block key like Litecoin Founder .

His "proof" is cleverly faked, but doesn't stand up to scrutiny. People have suggested more convincing kinds of proof that he should be able to deliver, but he apparently refused. Most likely it's fake.
