Horrible management. My girlfriend pays almost $700 a month for rent in a 1 bedroom and has been having faulty ac issues. Their response, "Since you live on the 3rd floor your thermostat will never touch 65 or 60." That's insane. The management at the grove is ridiculous. I call management on her behalf while she is at work and that is not allowed. Mind you I'm not getting an attitude with whomever it is I'm talking to but it's not allowed. Then management says it's not an emergency if is not 80 or 90 degrees in the apartment. So you all are just going to tell me what my emergency is. I guess we have to have heat strokes before we can call for maintenance to do their jobs. At first glance The Grove Apartments at Pleasant Valley are nice, but believe me everything that glitters isn't gold. If you or anyone you know were even thinking about moving there, please reconsider.

Hi Johnathan, we are sorry for the inconvenience - we can only speak to the resident who signed the lease. Maintenance has been notified of the request for the air unit to be looked at, so we thank you for your patience. There was a manager by the name of Tamara that was awesome. The residents loved her and it made it so great to live because things got done and it was nice. All of a sudden there was a new manager no notice no type of letter or anything we just come and see this Christie manager. She has awful management skills. I come home and water had flooded my apt in the hallway they brought me a bucket to put on the problem, then after 3 weeks they finally bring me a AC wall unit but can't use that because the darn breaker switch in the apt would go out. So I had no choice but to deal with it. While moving out I had maintenance get aggressive and go through my whole apt while the movers was there moving my things out and telling them I had there air conditioner. I was like OMG are you kidding me!!! They even had a guy on the golf cart watching the men move me out to see if they had a air conditioner I was so appalled!!! Week later I went to go get a package that was delivered there and the manager says to me "we are missing a AC unit that was in your apt" I was like lady y'all took the aIr conditioner thingie after y'all finally fixed it! I couldn't believe it!!! I grabbed my box and left!!!! It was a nightmare and kept me stressed out the whole time!!!! Well I just no I have noticed a lot of people moving out All I can say is good writtence.

This place was good for the time that I was there, but then when I got ready to leave it was a different story. I was told that I didn't owe any money, and then about a month later got a call from a collection agency saying that I owed $255. Never once did I get a call, letter, or anything! When I called to ask about it they told me I owed some move out fee. This is absolutely ridiculous and they will be getting reported to the BBB. I would definitely not recommend this place!!

Management was horrible. I had BLACK MOLD in my apartment for over 2 months while they did nothing about it. There was also some kind of soot that blew from the vents and got all over the walls and furniture. My pets both got really sick. I eventually had to move out and got stuck with a ton of fees for breaking my lease.
