Happy Hour 7days a week 5pm-7pm with $5 drinks, $5 fries, tots, wings, mini burger, etc. Dim lite, chill local spot. Cabin/Prohibition feel. Pretty good dinner or snack joint to catch with a friend or so over a drink. Street parking, meter.

Great medieval cave meets underground bar atmosphere. Cool bartender. Really delicious apps. Everything except the chicken tenders was delicious gastropub type fare. Beer selection is the only thing that's s little lacking. Staying on the trendy side a bit too much with the Olympia and pbr instead of good draft choices. Great place to head after work.

I came here with Laura S. a few months ago for dinner and drinks to celebrate her friend's birthday. We were able to find street parking really easily and the place was pretty empty (at least when we arrived) since it was a weeknight. Their food service hours are: (Sun-Thurs) 4PM-11PM (Fri-Sat) 4PM-12midnight, with a special "late night menu" from 12-1AM And they have happy hour EVERY day from 4-7PM. Pretty sweet! During happy hour the draft beers are $5-6 with well drinks at $5. Wines by the glass are $6. I ordered the following: HOUSE BURGER: 7oz all natural, hormon free, organic California beef ground in house. With greens, tomato, onion. Served with chips and pickles (on the side), on a Village Bakery bun. -- I also added Munster cheese (+$1) and substituted their hand cut French fries for the chips (+$3). Because of the low lighting (let's be honest, it's because my camera quality is poor), I don't have any pictures to show you, but the burger was good and I enjoyed my meal. I don't regret any of it ;) THE BASIL-ADE: House infused Basil vodka, fresh lemon, and house made mint simple syrup -- Light and refreshing, just the way I like it! Laura seemed to like her burger and drinks here, and later when the birthday girl and her friends showed up everyone had a good time. There were several booths/tables in the back corner where we hung out and it was a nice space for our group. The place is pretty darkly lit but it looks really hip and the staff are friendly (at least when you can get ahold of them, which can be a challenge). The ladies' room was pretty nice as well, which is always a plus. While I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here, I definitely would not mind stopping in for a drink and a bite if I were in the area.

Came here for a birthday last night and the place is dead on the weekdays but ALIVE on weekends. But I like it like that. I had peace and quiet! FOOD: Ordered the food at the bar and sat at a table. I ordered the turkey burger and it was like Thanksgiving in a bun - cranberry, stuffing, turkey burger... and chips on the side. I thought the turkey burger was dry... I still ate it cuz I was hungry. The chips was good and my friend's french fries were REALLY GOOD. DRINKS: I got the Moscow Mule and I got it done the right way. In a copper cup (you have to give your ID to them to get that drink because people steal the cups) and it was good. I love the cup it comes in and it made me feel like a hardcore drinker... which I'm not, but still... COOL. I felt cool. There are some cheap drinks that they offer and I love it. There is a mystery shot for $4. What?! That's not even happy hour time! It's ALL the time. Wuddd... AMBIANCE: So laid back and very cool. The stone walls are cool and it's just a really hip place. Yes, hipsters would love it. Great for a photoshoot too. SERVICE: Standard PRICES: Pretty good. PARKING: Street OVERALL: Great place for drinks!

This place is pretty poppin! The bar is pretty nice and packed. I got the MOSCOW MULE and it was really good and STRONG too. The bartender put a lot of vodka in my drink. If you get the moscow mule, they are going to have to take your ID to make sure you don't take their fancy cup...

Good spot for when bigfoot is too crowded.

Good vibe. I can see how this place can go off at night. During the day, quiet. Mellow. Kinda scary you're going to draw a lot of attention to yourself if you talk too loud. I'm still into it, though. Good beer selection. Friendly bartender. Clean. We like clean. Interesting menu. My husband also said "You are right" here, so....bonus.

The Lowdown==- Saturday night no cover, dim lit castle-like interior, "caged" outside patio, laid back crowd knocking back beers. You cannot run out of places to sit here. There could be 6-8 large parties and this dive would be able to handle it. The crowd attracted here are the friendly kind to spark random conversations with, so douchebaggery is checked at the door. There are a couple nice fireplaces set up inside next to large couches, and large picnic bench set-ups scattered about so gathering your friends around would not be a problem in this ultra space-efficient spot. There is a central and side bar where the crowd gets at most 1 deep. There's never really problems trying to get your drink order to the bartender, since the noise ambiance at this place was not annoyingly loud. Quick Note: there's nothing upstairs except the kitchen, don't even try to go up. I wanted to sneak up at one point because I thought it was the ultra-exclusive VIP lounge. NOPE, *clank* *clank* *clank* only pots and pans! Downstairs is fun enough. Restrooms aren't super, but when are they ever are at a divey bar. At least the stalls had doors and it wasn't a single occupancy.
