We stayed at this Hotel just a few days ago. My Husband had a Medical Emergency. The staff could not have been more caring or helpful. The Hotel Manager came to the room and helped me get my husband up off of the floor and onto his walker. So very thoughtful. The Hotel is goreous and very comfortable. Thanks for a really good experience. It could have been so much worse apart from you kindness and professional help.

Staff were difficult to communicate with, room keys didn't work, had to turn off noisy heater unit at 1am and had to wake up to a cold room. Went back the next day to pick up iPhone chargers we forgot and had to talk to 2 managers and two other staff and undergo ridiculous questioning after already providing photo ID, room number and proof of stay. Not going back.

For three years in a row I have attended the Oregon Fairs Association Event at the Grand Hotel in Salem. I have found the hotel to be clean, inviting, spacious and comfortable for the two to three night stay on every occasion. The staff is friendly and helpful and Bentley's Grill offers a great dining experience. The full breakfast that is included with the reservation provides many choices for the morning meal. Having an event all under one roof makes the Grand Hotel an excellent choice for any entity looking for accommodations of all kinds under one roof

Everything one could dream of in a downtown hotel -- or any hotel! A most welcoming atmosphere. Comfort, beauty, quiet, clean, compact and easy-to-get-around in, with well-appointed guest rooms. Roomy underground parking. Excellent food. Remarkably hospitable, gracious staff in all areas of service. And, a winner for the group I was with, fresh cookies at check-in!

While attending a meeting is Salem I had the opportunity to stay and The Grand Hotel. It was a wonderful experience; this was the second time I have stayed there. I had a special request and when I asked the front desk employees if they could accommodate me they said they would check. To my surprise they said yes, they could make request happen. As it turned out I didn't need it after all, but just to know that they went to extra lengths to make it happen was a great service. The room was very spacious, clean and heated just right for me. The breakfast area was clean and had ample food for everyone. (I believe there were 4 or 5 meetings going on at the same time). All of the staff that I saw had a smile on their faces and greeted everyone. I will definitely stay there again. I commend management for hiring such wonderful people to work for them. Keep up the good work.

Staying at the Grand Hotel in Salem is always a pleasurable experience. The desk staff is very helpful and friendly; the room is always immaculately clean and comfortable; the complimentary breakfast is among the best I've eaten anywhere. The close proximity to the Salem Convention Center is a bonus. Definitely one of the best hotels at which I've stayed, and a great value for the price, too.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my wife's birthday. It was a surprise, and she kept commenting on how beautiful the hotel was and that she felt like she was a queen while she was there. (She LOVED the room service Crème Brulee) Thank you for providing a fantastic experience for my wife of 23 years. We will recommend your hotel to everyone we know.

We have stayed at The Grand Hotel many times over the years. It is a real gem! We have always found the staff to be welcoming and efficient. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, with high-quality linens and towels. The free wi-fi, complimentary breakfast and on-site parking are real pluses that you don't often find in hotels of this caliber. It has been our experience that the nicer hotel, the more expensive these amenities, but not at The Grand. In addition, we have hosted several receptions in the Presidential Suites and have never been disappointed. The rooms work well for small groups and the staff has always been very helpful and accommodating. We would recommend The Grand without hesitation.
