Absolutely amazing! The ocean side room is defiantly worth the extra money. I can't even describe how cozy and comfortable the rooms are as well as being very classy!

Great location for leisure travelers wanting to get to know the city. It's a short walk to the Seattle Center (space Needle, Chihuly gardens, Experience Music Project and more). Rooms are comfortable and the service is excellent.

Very beautiful location. Enjoyed some drinks in the bar as we watched the bay from the window. Very good service and very clean hotel. Overall the experience was great.

Love the Lodge and the restaurant, the view, the atmosphere. Food used to be superb, but over the past few years there were significant ups and downs. Last time: food - 4, service - 3 out of 5, overall experience is still 5!

It is a lovely hotel set in a beautiful location! A stunning place all together. Everything you would need in a hotel. The rooms are extremely spacious. A amazing shower and bathroom facilities. A gorgeous fire place and balcony. Would highly recommend

Where do I start? The lost reservation? The lack of empathy from the staff? How about from beginning? Going on a cruise out of Seattle and given the hotel's location, it was a logical choice to stay here. So I made a reservation online - using their website. Received an e-mail confirmation and everything. Verified about a month ahead of time that the reservation was still in place. Arrived at the hotel and - wait for it - you guessed it - no reservation. Fortunately I always bring a printed copy of the reservation. Not any apology from the front desk, not a "problem sir we'll take care of it." Nothing. Fortunately they do have a room and can put us up. But the room is not a waterfront room; it is a city side. He says they are able to match the rate I had with my previous reservation - wait WFT?? I had a waterfront room and now I have to pay the same rate for a crappy city side room. But it was late and that was the best I could do. Still no apology. Since their 1970 reservation system takes a long time to process, they said I could wait in the bar and did comp me a drink. That was one small nicety in a sea of incompetency. Also, when reviews say train noise, they are serious. Trains roll by all the time. It is funny that the area is a no signal area - so no train horns, but that does not quite all the rumbling. As bad as all this sounds, gave it two stars (instead of one) because of the awesome location. Close to all the fun stuff at Pikes Market and other restaurants.

Great hotel along the water. Rooms are very cozy. Front for the water view, it's worth it. Dine at the six seven restaurant and prepare for strong drinks!

The first feeling you get as you first walk in the hotel is, old and bit rundown, almost a shabby feel to it. It brags a four diamond rating but after my experience at the hotel that is definetly overrated. I requested a king room with a water view and the gentleman at the front desk was happy to accommodate, however when we got to the room it was with two double beds, so we went back with all our luggage to the front desk. A different front desk guy found another room but he informed us we would have to wait about an hour for the room to be ready. We agreed and waited. I went to the bar and bought two glasses of wine for $27 with tip and taxes. When we finally got to the room we notice the belongings from the previous guest were still there, hmm? apparently the previous guest asked to be moved to a different room we wondered why, was it the torn furniture? Or the dirty looking water view? Who knows? Later that night as we were trying to sleep I was awaken by the loud sound of walking feet above me. I have never ever heard the sound of people walking above me in a fine hotel. Cheap and shabby came to mind again. Fortunately for us I brought along our Memory foam pillows only because I had read some of the other guest complain about the flimsy pillows, and they were right. I was having a hard time sleeping, however about three o'clock in the morning I notice a paper had been slipped under the doorway. It was a bill for the $27 for the wine plus $14 plus tax for facility use it turns out that you get charge for using their exercise room, business center and wifi, even if you didn't use it. We did book our hotel with Priceline maybe that's why the amenity was not an amenity. As I was writing this review my wife comes out of the shower with a towel fraying on the edges, there goes that shabby feeling again. I can't wait to check out and move to my next hotel adventure. I almost forgot the $50 dollars for parking 🤑☹️
