Absolutely amazing! The ocean side room is defiantly worth the extra money. I can't even describe how cozy and comfortable the rooms are as well as being very classy!

My family and I stayed one evening. We had a suite, but not a water view, so the view was lacking (you saw the valet parking lot). We used the shuttle service once, but found that it was easier to just walk where we wanted to go. Twice we signed up for the service, but didn't get it. We were not given a choice to park or valet park, so that was an extra $50 tab. We loved the location of the hotel and our room inside was cozy and nice with a fireplace. I was extremely disappointed with the bathroom. It was dark. The lighting is horrible to get ready in, for a woman. Even more disappointing was the fact that the shower had quarter sized spots of black mold on the tile and grout. I was thoroughly disgusted. I mentioned that upon check out, which was right after my shower and the front desk was taken aback, but really said nothing. I don't even know if they noted it so that it would be sure to be fixed. Surely it hadn't been cleaned properly in a very long time to have that size and color of mold growing. The toiletries provided smelled awful as well. They were in full sized containers to use and could purchase if you took them with you for $25 per bottle, the packaging was cute, but again the smell was awful who would want them.

I stayed here between 2/20/15 and 2/22/15. All the staff I had the pleasure of interacting with was fabulous, I wish I could remember some names to mention but I met so many them! Two that really stand out were the hostess for dinner on 2/20/15, we made reservations around noon for 6:30pm and she was able to get us in a little early (about 10 minutes or so) when we came down. She was so sweet with my 6 year old daughter and very courteous. Plus it was the best salmon I have ever had! The other staff member was the gentleman who drove the shuttle for us from Kings Street Train Station. He was so nice and had no problem keeping a conversation and telling us a little about the area and hotel even though he said he'd only been in Seattle for about 6 months. He also took us back to the train station and, again, was a very nice young man. The room was great, I'm not usually a fan of hotel beds but mine was very comfortable. Everything was clean and wonderful. The only criticism I have is that I wish there had been a fan in the bathroom instead of just the ventilation hole. It got very humid after our showers and I had to prop the door open the get it to vent out. I can't remember the brand of coffee they carry in the rooms for the coffee makers but it was so yummy and thank you for providing creamers, you are the only hotel I've stayed at that has creamers (and I've stayed in lots of hotels). One last thing, our view was spectacular! I loved that we could see all of Elliot Bay and stick our heads out the window to see the Great Wheel at night all lit up and beautiful. I will 100% be coming back as soon as possible!

I really enjoyed our time up in seattle at the edgewater, the staff was helpful in fixing my departure time screw up so we didn't have to change rooms,that was sweet.cause we had a harbor view which i recommend ,..the food was so delicious at the restaurant there i could not stop ordering the benedict selection at breakfast ,wow so good yet so fattening ,...you got me at hollandaise....... i will happily pay the price later totally worth it :<)

I loved my stay at the Edgewater! It came highly recommended from a college friend living in Seattle. My only regret is not planning more time to stay in the beautiful room during our stay! I planned a surprise trip to Seattle for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. We were able to get a waterfront room and the views were spectacular. I asked in advance to have an outfit I bought for him be dry cleaned and hanging in the closet upon our arrival. My request was granted and it was a wonderful 'extra' surprise for him!

My boyfriend took me to Seattle for our belated anniversary trip. We stayed at The Edgewater hotel (2/2015) for a week. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were cozy and modern. I loved having a view from the balcony. We will definitely stay here the next time we're in Seattle!

More of a story than a review but it needs telling. A group of six of us stayed there in the summer of 1968 (47 years ago) in three separate rooms on the waterside. After checking in, comments were made about how one could catch fish out of the room. We made reservations in the upscale dining room only after we were able to find a necktie for my uncle so he would be within the dress code. Our table was at the window and situated so the window was at one end and the waiter would stand at the other to take our order. It was clear to us, the waiter felt it was beneath him to serve us; we were not up to the standards of his usual customers. After all, my uncle had a plaid shirt with a borrowed necktie. As the waiter was at the end of the table facing the window, a baited line came down from above and a few moments later, it came back up again with a 12” fish on it. The six of us greeted the scene with joy, astonishment and laughter. I am sure the waiter was never the same again.

BEWARE!!! Prior to arrival from the East Coast to meet a client on business, I had placed a phone call to request a few special things in the room. Simply, a cheese platter, a few bottles of chilled wine and a fruit plate because my flight had been delayed and I didn't have an opportunity to eat after an 9 hour flight. I noted the occasion was special and was assured everything would be in place. When I arrived, I found the room (waterfront) smelled of mold and cigarettes and the few platters of food and wine were absent. The bathrooms were filthy as well. Once in the room, I called the front desk for explanation as to why the request was ignored and the room was dirty and was told that they would send the Manager to speak with me. In doing so, the Manager made no accommodation to make up for the mistake/oversight. They refused to put me in another room citing that all the other rooms were booked and only received an apology that the food and wine were not in place. I moved to the FAIRMONT Hotel for nearly the same cost, nearby and the level of service FAR surpassed that of the EDGEWATER. If you are looking for a hotel in Seattle that will cater to your every need, smells good, and has your best interest in mind... DO NOT go to Edgewater. It's dirty, a tourist trap and the food is previously frozen and lower level by any standard.

I'd not stayed at the Edgewater before; as a Seattle resident, there's just so infrequent a need to stay in my hometown! But I got to cross it off my list for a business meeting, and enjoyed it. The rooms are nice; the beds (and pillows) are phenom. I've had the best (hotel) nights' sleep at the Edgewater; far and away better than other places I've stayed at across the US. The staff was very friendly; I was ALWAYS greeted with a hello - even from housekeeping. Bathroom amenities included hairdryer, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, and nice bathrobe. They apparently have rubber duckies somewhere in the bathroom, but I never saw one. They did have the cutest teddy bear on the bed when I arrived; I'm a sucker for teddy bears and am kind of kicking myself that I didn't get one (though at $30 a pop, they aren't giving them away, either). Six Seven (the hotel restaurant) has a good happy hour that I would come for regardless of whether I was staying at the hotel or not. The "apple of my eye" cocktail was delicious, and nice to have a "bigger" (i.e. mojito sized) cocktail rather than a smaller one such as a lemon drop. (They always seem to go down so quickly.)
