Tiny bakery selling a handful of donut choices each day until the stock runs out.- Google
"I love the old Fashion but the ginger stack is a close second for me."
"But this place is the BOMB for huge fluffy, yeast like donuts."

Very delicious doughnuts and coffee. Doughnuts have great texture and flavor. I had the Old Fashion Horchata special and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The shop is small and simple. Walk in, get your food, get out. If you want variety go early as they close once they sell out of the days doughnuts.

Really the original fancy donut place in town. Huge donuts, absolutely delicious. I love the birthday cake special. The fact that there are now a lot of donut options means there's really no reason to stand in a long line though, not worth it. Still think it's too of the donut heap in Chicago

Quaint donut shop housing some amazing donuts that is indicative based on the ever-present line. This location has a wider variety of donuts than the Canal location, ranging from cake donuts, to yeast donuts, to jelly filled. Grab a cup of coffee and a donut and your day will be off to a great start!

Doughnut Vault is good--- the buttermilk old fashioned is my favorite. However it's not worth the 30 minute wait or however long your wait is when you go. The glazed donuts are just alright, and the gingerbread donuts don't wow me. Second place would go to the jelly donuts. I think I would have to say that I like Do Rite Donuts over Doughnut Vault still, and those still don't hold a candle to Blue Star Donuts in Portland!

Favorite donuts in the city (I've tried them all). I enjoy all of their donuts and creativity with their daily specials but continue to come back to their buttermilk (original) old fashioned. Excellent iced coffee too.

After seeing all the 5 star reviews I had to give it a try. They have a pretty unique daily special, but mine didn't seem to be very fresh at 10 am on a Saturday, plus a 30-45 minute wait for a $36 average tasting dozen means I won't be back. Not cash only anymore, but they should offer financing options.

I thought the doughnuts were simply amazing. Their chocolate doughnut fulfilled all of my fantasies. I wanted more and more. I mean I'm from Chicago so I know our food is great but this place makes it worth visiting. I think I might live around there just so that I can be the first in line. It's not just the doughnuts but the energy. Everyone who comes seems to be so fun and have a shining personality. If someone is thinking about coming they should start driving and get here early before the line is REALLY long ;)

This place WOULD be easy to miss, if it weren't for the ridiculous line of people eagerly awaiting their delicious donuts each morning. The actual shop itself is about the size of a small closet, fitting approximately 4-6 people inside at a time. The rest wait patiently for their little circular, sugar-glazed carb-pillows of heaven. All flavors I've tried so far are amazing. The interior, though the size of my coffee cupboard, is novelty and very cute. Definitely a must-stop if you are a Chicago donut enthusiast.
