ok first off I never leave a review for a okay or decent place THIS PLACE WAS GREAT BEAUTIFUL .. ALL THE WAY AROUND I PLANNED A GIRLS TRIP LAST MINUTE AND LETS SAY IT EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS WHEN I BOOKED IT WEATHER WAS LOOKING BEACH WEARING ATTIRE .. WELL FEW DAYS BEFORE SHOWED WOULD BE A STORM PASSING DAY BEFORE & SO OUR ARRIVAL DATE WOULD RAIN .. BUT WE WENT WITH HIGH HOPES IT SPRINKLED THE VALLET(INCULDED) WAS PERFECT .. WE WAITING IN THE HIP SITTING AREA ..CHECKED IN 2HRS BEFORE CHECK IN STAFF MADE IT HAPPEN :)) ALSO GRABED A DRINK AT THEIR BAR CONVIENTLY LOCATED NEXT DOOR HANDS DOWN GREAT drinks ... we got settled into our rooms where our bags were waiting after settling in to our breath taking room they brought up champagne for us .. we took a bit all down our private path to beach was nice we were litrerly steps from our door to beach .. I loved it we ate dinner at the restaurant in hotel food was delicious they gave us champagne after was well worth it ... I have no complaints only that we got stuck next to a older couple who complained about our music but all those drinks 4 ladies and the hotel provided deck player it was bound to get a Lil loud but they were just grouches with a dog that pooped everywhere so I say we were even lol but I will be back def making it a yr tradition if we get the same room again lol thank you was perfect and Sunday we checked out and the sun came out we stood out there all day was def worth the price .. you def get what you pay for here & staff & valley were the best honestly

I loath being tricked by companies as most of us do. I receive a Travel Zoo email regarding how amazing The Cliffs Resort is, very attractive pricing and it peeks my interest. I call for reservations AFTER verifying black out dates and sure enough, even though the dates were not listed The Cliffs created a blackout date. So my stay would be $600 more. How convenient! No matter how beautiful this place might be, their ethics or lack there of will keep me away. I would never recommend a company that baits and switches or will not follow through with published advertisements.

As a tourist I felt like they were not trying to just do their job there. It felt more like it was a family run business and everyone WANTED to be at work. The love and care they put into their job showed immensely and If I ever go back to the middle of nowhere California, I am staying here for sure. The view is surreal. I wish I could upload a picture to show you. p.s. I am not a warm weather person, but I did find myself enjoying the poolside view of "the cliffs". Even the children in the pool area seemed to be well behaved. I know that was coincidence, but usually that is not the case, especially in the summer months at resorts.

I've been to the Cliffs three times. Each time, the experience was flawless! And Anna Fergus, Director of Wedding Services, is one of the finest professionals I've met. After only a few minutes of speaking with Anna, it was obvious we'd book the resort for Tara's and my wedding. We're looking forward to December!

The room was nice and the valet personnel were helpful and friendly, however the beach access was public and not impressive. The restaurant service was almost the worst i have seen so far. The pool is small and the view of the ocean is decent. Not worth the 14 dollar resort fee they ask for because nothing about the place stands out as a resort.

Nice location and great place for drinks. Food isn't the best but definitely a good place for happy hours during summer, although it does get quite packed - especially during special events.

The best "nifty-fifty" in the state. Worth every dime.
