Lovely hotel with great views and fantastic staff, stayed for 1 night as part of our honeymoon and arrived in the room to find a bottle of champagne waiting for us, really nice touch. Would have given 5 stars but the ac was a bit noisy even after a maintenance guy came to look. The restaurant next door was lovely too

Awesome hotel with great amenities in a great location. I stayed here with family after visiting Pismo beach and the first great thing about this place is that the hotel is less than 10 minutes drive from the beach. Awesome! Plus the location is beautiful, right along the coast, and outside the back of the hotel is a little private beach to relax at. Inside the hotel the amenities are great, complementary margaritas when I was there, complementary smores out by the pool, etc. The hotel rooms are nice and clean, and again, have a great view of the surround area. Service here was great all employees I interacted with were incredibly friendly. This was a great place to stay.

Disappointing. Stay at Dolohin Bay. One door down and 100 times better. On the positive side, the setting is amazing and the staff were friendly. Staff at restauramt was particularly friendly and helpful. The hotel, though, leaves a lot to be desired. The hotel is in minor disrepair. I took a couple photos below to illustrate. Vent cover and filter fell out... staff stuffed them in a drawer in the room. The little doors won't shut on the thermostat. Housekeeping did not replace two water bottles in fridge on our second day. Pool was dirty and hot tub was DISGUSTING. We have an electic car. One charger is labeled 100A and the other 40A. They are both 40A - though all valet team believed our car was on the 100A charger, my car said differently. Why does it take a customer to figure this out? It just seems like management is not paying attention to the customer experience. The grass... look at the grass a d landscaping at Dolphin Bay. Beautiful. The Cliffs? Looks like dogs peed on the grass incessantly for 20 years. I could go on, but you get the point. Verh expensive for this kind of atmosphere. Will avoid staying here again.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Only downside was the rooms feel pretty dated. Oh, and the hair dryer is hidden in the closet. My wife learned that after searching everywhere possible.

Fantastic service, lovely staff, arrived here as an overnight stay on part of our honeymoon and we were greeted with a bottle of champagne in the room. The marisol restaurant food was really good and the service was excellent. Only small issue was the ac noise, the maintenance guy came and turned it down a bit but the noise seemed to come back overnight. That was the only downside in an otherwise fantastic stay.

I have nothing bad to say about The Cliffs. Complimentary valet, good service, great view. Free pizza at the bar during Thursday happy hour. Rooms and showers were great. Overall fantastic hotel

Service was nice, however there weren't enough valet people available so it took a while to get our car. There wany a fridge in our room which seemed odd. Not a big deal though as there was ice machines. Rooms were well kept and beds were very comfortable.

We came for dinner and ate on the patio for the beautiful view. Our service was very attentive and helpful. The drinks were well made, the bread warm, and entrees on point. I had the filet and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. I love visiting the Cliffs when I am in town and I will be back.
