My 21 Day Fix Extreme challenge kind of fell apart over the weekend but I am back at it this morning! I prepped 1 cup of ‪#‎Quaker‬ Steel Cut Oats and it made 6 Yellow Containers worth of cooked oatmeal. I like to eat about a container and a half so I divided it up accordingly!

I'm an Arbonne Independent Consultant and to kick off the holiday season right, I've decided to use their Essentials line to stay healthy. I'm starting with their 7-Day Body Cleanse to detox my system and start fresh! #arbonne #healthyliving #healthyholidays

I finished my very first triathlon this weekend!  It was SO HARD and I wasn't into it mentally but I finished despite wanting to quit almost every step of the way.  It made me realize how much I am really capable of!

On the Blog:  I took the last week or so to decide whether I would try the Whole30 this month after seeing friends being so successful.  I go through my decision with both pros and cons of the program!

We all know that weight loss is mostly due to diet so I've started tracking my food again. I aim to stay under 2000 calories, less than 100g of carbs, and at least 80g of protein, with fat being variable. This is pretty difficult for me except on days that I eschew grains. I also need up up my fiber intake with more veggies!

I chose these numbers through personal experience and from lots of reading about the best numbers for fat burning and even energy throughout the day.

Do you track your food and aim for a certain macronutrient ratio/level? How did you set your goals??

It takes me about 30 seconds to walk to my mailbox and back.  My front door auto locks after 30 seconds.  It is now a race to see who wins

I decided I wanted to run some races this Fall and started to go a little registration-crazy!  I had to stop myself when I wanted to add a third race.  I think my first season back to running shouldn't be too overwhelming!!
