Delayed Opening of Broomfield Bay Due to Weather.

The Broomfield Bay will be closed Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 due to inclement weather. We will open on Monday, May 25, weather permitting.

The Bay will NOT open if the outside temperature is anticipated to be below 70 degrees throughout the day or if the pool temperature is below 77 degrees. Safety is our top priority!

"Duck, Duck, Goose" - There are lots of babies on the loose.
Please respect our space and watch us from a distance.
There have recently been an increase in the sightings of baby ducks and geese in our parks and open space areas. Although we understand your concerns for the safety of these little ones we ask that you observe from a distance. You may think that they have been abandoned by their parents, but more than likely "momma" is close by. Moving them or removing them may cause unnecessary distress.
If you observe other types of injured or distressed birds please contact:
Birds of Prey at 303.460.0674
Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center at 303.823.8455 and
Colorado Parks and Wildlife at 303.291.7227
