It was a great experience to be accommodated by warm humans with professional work ethics. Every assistance i needed were met with care and efficiency. The rooms were very amiable and always looked after well. The artistic nature of the Hotel was refreshing and an enjoyable immersive experience.

As a regular guest, I always find the rooms immaculate. Staff are friendly, greet you as you enter the hotel everytime. Bar staff remember your regular drink choice. The only negative (and this is incredibly minor) is that sometimes after room cleaning the used flannel has been removed, but not replaced. Always my first choice of hotel to stay in Melbourne.

alot of good points to note but ill just give the cons to save time - room 605 - Stanless steel pans in rooms- everything sticks no matter the oil - get nonstick - Only a bread knife, no steak or chefs knives in the room - Tv remote was faulty -fridge was full over junk foods - make stocked fridge optional -room server especially after hours is extremely limited and expensive - gym is too small, under equipped and requires options for music -bathroom sink drains annoyingly slow - air con options are too locked down

Awesome boutique hotel. Friendly staff and the smoothest check in process. Ability to check in online is awesome - can even make requests for pillows etc. Room service is great, comes from restaurant downstairs. Cafe does a great coffee for breakfast. Beds are super comfy, one of the best hotel.beds I've slept in!

I have stayed at The Blackman 28 times, and enjoy my stay every time. The rooms are always clean and well presented, with crisp linen and fluffy towels. It is the little things that matter - like good toiletries, which are ALWAYS replaced on a daily basis. The staff are exceptional in their service and nothing is too much of a problem, even when I needed extra firm pillows for a bad back, late at night. It feels like a home away from home, and you are always assured of a friendly smile! Thank you.

I've stayed at the Blackman a few times this year. Each time has lived up to expectation. It's comfortable, different, interesting. Both the bar & cafe are great. I've already recommended to numerous friends.

We had a lovely stay at The Blackman. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite large with balcony's and nice views. Underground car park if you need to drive there, very close to the city with a tram stop just up the street a little. The only issues we had with our stay , they pushed two beds together to make a king size and the join was a problem to sleep on and the shower was a little small. Other than that it was a great place to stay.
