As a regular guest, I always find the rooms immaculate. Staff are friendly, greet you as you enter the hotel everytime. Bar staff remember your regular drink choice. The only negative (and this is incredibly minor) is that sometimes after room cleaning the used flannel has been removed, but not replaced. Always my first choice of hotel to stay in Melbourne.

This hotel is so lovely. This is our third stay and the staff are always friendly and the artwork throughtout is wonderful. Sleeping on the bed is like being on a cloud. Thanks again and see you soon.

As a market researcher, it's always hard to find a good hotel with great food that's available outside my core hours of business 5.30-10pm. I've loved staying at The Blackman in Melbourne for years now because, even if I have to travel back to the city centre from outer Melbourne I could be assured of a great late-night dinner. No longer. Sob.

We stayed at The Blackman for two nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully made with good quality amenities (T2 tea, evo soaps and shampoos). The artwork is interesting and makes the room feel like a home. The main attraction of The Blackman, however, is the bed. This is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I would highly recommend The Blackman.

Awesome boutique hotel. Friendly staff and the smoothest check in process. Ability to check in online is awesome - can even make requests for pillows etc. Room service is great, comes from restaurant downstairs. Cafe does a great coffee for breakfast. Beds are super comfy, one of the best hotel.beds I've slept in!

I stayed in Room 1103 for my overseas Skype job interview and i was allowed a very early check in ( thankyou ) and the room was clean and perfect. Best view of St Kilda Rd which served as the perfect back drop for my German interviewers. Parking was great, the desk staff are fantastic and i was made to feel very welcome. I had a brekky at Classico which was gorgeous and the barista made me the perfect "morning after" double shot latte. Check out was fast and staff were again lovely. I didnt want to leave. Oneday i am going to buy a bed from you guys!

I had a lovely handwritten note welcoming me back to stay which was a nice personal touch. Our overall experience is that staff make everything easy and simple, without the sense of officiousness in some bigger hotels.E.g. When I asked for a different height pillow it was brought to my room soon afterward. When the exit was blocked to the carpark we were able to leave our car onsite, have brunch and come back. We were in town for a funeral so we appreciated the service. Next time we come back we will try a bigger room.

Great hotel with really nice, big rooms. Staff were professional and courteous. Hotel bar was seriously expensive though with bottles of beer (no taps) costing over $10. All in all a good experience and I'd stay there again.
