Our consciousness is so old, older than the trees; the mind is nothing but energy and intelligence. When you chant, sing bhajans, the deepest layers in our consciousness vibrate with the oldest sounds; the whole system resonates - it is very powerful. - Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Navratri is traditionally celebrated at the beginning of autumn every year, when everything in nature starts undergoing transformation. This is the time that the season changes from a more extreme season to a more moderate season of autumn.

When nature is in balance, it helps for us to also get into that balance. That's why, for any spiritual practice, sandhya or the interval is supposed to be the most ideal time. So, even if you're doing your meditation morning, afternoon, evening when the transition is happening in nature, when there is balance in nature, when it's neither this nor that, that's the time it is good to meditate. So, the Navratris are a great time to meditate.
Go deeper in your meditation this Navratri, meditate with thousands of people as they participate in the yagyas through the webcast - http://bit.ly/2diVk7A

Navratri is a time to overcome the negative tendencies and unite with the Source. Keeping silence for some time can help bring rest to the chattering mind. Silence is one of the ways to clean the mind.

Yagnas are an ancient science that works on purifying the environment, the individual, and the subtle level of consciousness. They are done to nullify negativity, and to create more positivity.

The Divine is nothing but a form of energy. A pure and highly vibrant energy. Through the technique of a Yagna, this energy (which is highly pure and vibrant) is brought down from the subtle to the gross using the five elements, Mantras (chants) and Yantras (diagrams). When this pure energy touches the Earth element, it has a purifying effect on the physical atmosphere, the subtle atmosphere and on the people who participate in the Yagna.

The 4, 5 and 6th days of Navratri honor the Devi in the form of Lakshmi. She is the goddess of wealth and prosperity. Wealth is a vital ingredient bestowed upon us for the maintenance and progress in our life. It is much more than just having money. It means abundance in knowledge, skills and talents. Lakshmi is the energy that manifests as the complete spiritual and material well-being of a person.”

You can relax, eat ayurvedic tasty food, see large pagoda architecture ,people from different parts of world, Indian breed of cows, hear Vedic Chanting from Gurukul and meet yourself. This is one of the most unique magical place in the world. You can meet H.H Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji .
