San Francisco has taken note of both JORY and the hotel! Thank you +SFGate and a very special thank you to +Soter Vineyards ....

Roughly 60 yards from the home that lent Brick House Vineyards its name, winemaker-owner Doug Tunnell swirls glasses and spins stories of his days as a newsman in the Middle East. The rain is a near-constant companion of Oregon winter, but it seems far distant inside the toasty-warm 1931 barn where wine barrels are stacked high and Tunnell welcomes visitors who have called ahead to sample bottles across the table from him. If Ore...

We had a gift certificate for the spa. We chose the couples massage. Loved the drinks and snacks in the co-ed lounge while waiting for the massage. The massage experience was professional, calming, individualized, and relaxing. The facility is CLEAN spacious, and was not rushed through. I can not wait to return. I live in the community and have a different opinion of the facility since using this service. If anything, I would have the receptionists come across less pretentious. Thank You.

As a person in the travel industry for over 17 years, I have seen it all. I am very picky when it comes to hotel reviews. This hotel gets 5 stars for their rooms and more. Beautiful, just beautiful! My first time there we had a deluxe king room on the terrace level. All the rooms are the same except for the penthouse level. What you are paying for in the deluxe rooms is the views. The terrace level was nice because instead of a balcony, you have a private patio with 2 chairs and table. These rooms also give you straight access to the beautiful walking paths which are also lit at night. The rooms are of the pacific northwest decor. The bed was extremely comfortable with downfeather blankets and a beautiful silk like bedspread. The rooms also have a large sit in window to put your feet up and read a good book. The bathrooms are another wow factor. Marble is the main accent here. A wonderful separate 6` tub with bubblebath ready to go. There are wooden doors you can open so that the bath opens to the bed area. Plush towels, medium and large robes with slippers are in each room for your personal use. There is a small dining table and chairs for room service, and a small bar area stocked with wine glasses and a simple wine bottle opener. There you will also find a complementary basket of chocolates, energy bars and a bag of dried fruit. In the mini fridge you will find 2 small cute glass bottles of water. When you're out of water just fill from the mini bar sink of purified water. Room service menu didn't give to much variety however if you wanted something that was not exactly on the menu they will try to accommodate whatever you would like to have. You can ask for a Jory dinner menu at the front desk. They don't list all the dinners available because the menu changes every night. The food here is fabulous! Its not a place to get a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, (but I would bet they would try and make you one if you really wanted) it is more fancy then that. I didn't find the room service prices to be to high at all. And it was a nice surprise to hear them tell you up front that the gratuity is already included so less well seasoned travelers don't double tip. I had a horrible back issue when I arrived, and three wonderful massages later I was able to move again. The prices for a massage I found to be very reasonable depending on what you get. Mine, deep tissue was needed. The girl really worked hard on me. Her name was either Mandy or Amanda I think. You are given cold cucumber water when you are done. There are small snacks and tea in the spa sitting area as well. The 2nd time I stayed I had a 1 bedroom king suite on the penthouse level. Same room concept with an additional livingroom. This room faced the opposite way from where I stayed before and I was able to watch the beautiful sunset from my balcony with a nice glass of red wine. I also made use of the lovely gas fireplace. (Available in both room types) The Service here was very professional and friendly. Always smiling. Check in was a breeze. The rooms are pricy but worth it. I gave 5 stars for the type of hotel it is. I have seen better pools, more dining options etc in bigger hotels. But this is not your average hotel chain type hotel. It is the pacific northwestern's best luxury get away. Perfect for weddings or a romantic weekend. Going back in a few weeks and I can't wait!

Perhaps our favorite hotel stay ever! Top notch service, JORY restaurant provides the full menu to room service (key with a baby). Recommend getting the Kind Deluxe room, and spa level or higher.

Quiet. Nice people. But the bathrooms are embarrassing. Toilet noises are amplified throughout the massive room and the toilet fan just doesn't work. Ugh!

Had an amazing 5 days at the Allison. I got the royal spoil with spa abuse of the credit card and had about 5 treatments over the three days. Vineyards and excellent food within the inn and also nearby. Highly recommended.
