Happy Huesday to all! Check out this week's gleaming example of great architectural design and use of color. "Harmonic Convergence" by Christopher Janney, is more than a walkway to the main airport; it's a spectacular interactive sound, light and color installation at Miami International Airport.

Happy Huesday everyone! Today's glorious beacon of bold and colorful design comes from Melbourne, Australia. The Pixel Building ( is the country's first carbon neutral office building with impressive green credentials. It's bursting with color (to say the least) and, at least we imagine, infectious energy too! It's pretty awesome that such a technically advanced building doesn't have to be stainless steel just to be modern and sleek.

Happy Huesday everyone!

Check out this color-happy police station designed by Klein Dytham Architecture. The "Koban Police Box" is a station in the Japanese neighborhood of Kumamoto. That perforated steel ribbon on the top of the structure allows for lovely shadows to dapple the sidewalk throughout the day. This is definitely a less intimidating image of police, makes you wonder if the handcuffs come in a variety of hues as well.

The Fannie Mae 30-Year bond has fallen through one floor (Floor 2) and was headed downward. That in itself is normal... the bond goes up and down regularly. However, the next floor down is quite a ways and gives concern that the bond price could fall sharply which directly and negatively affects rates and pricing. For now, the bond downtrend has slowed and reversed slightly... thank goodness.

Think of the bond as a glass elevator that is headed down, but the next floor down is the Lobby... way down there. Until the elevator stops traders may feel the worse is yet to come and will not start buying the bond which we need in order for pricing to improve. Think about it... If you were a trader, you'd want to buy at the lowest possible price, right? Hopefully the stock market will continue to reverse, which would slow the sell off, or some other negative economic or geopolitical news will emerge.

Best-case scenario is traders buy bonds and drive the bond elevator to Ceiling 2 and above. Worst-case scenario is traders sell off the bond and wait to buy at the lowest price expected... this would be the Lobby in my graphic. The Jobs Report is coming this week and if it works against bonds then pricing could fall by as much as -0.375+.

Bonds down -12bps this morning.

MMG: "The Federal Reserve announced yesterday that it will reduce the amount of Bond buying per month by $10B to $65B. The news sent Stock prices plunging, while supporting Bond prices in late afternoon trading. This morning, Bond prices are giving up some of those gains despite lower economic growth numbers, a rise in unemployment claims and a weak reading on December Pending Home Sales.
With the benchmark 4%, Mortgage Bond trading above a key technical resistance level and showing signs of topping out.

A school in Ljubljana, Slovenia called Kindergarten Kekec ( proves that turning a space of learning from blah to inspiring only really requires some clever thinking and a huge dash of color. Built in just three days and inspired by the school’s lack of play equipment, Slovenian studio Arhitektura Jure Kotnik used rotating vertical shutters to turn the prefab 1980′s kindergarten into an interactive building. Timber slats can be turned from wood to bright color (nine hues in total), allowing children to play, learn and engage with their school. We love how this installation constantly changes the appearance of the exterior and allows for both full bursts of color and small strips of hue. If this had been our kindergarten, we may never have gone home…

The Adam and Eric Team went above and beyond for me - they had marketing techniques that nobody was offering. I was “wowed” from the beginning to the end of my dealings with them. They professionally staged my home, took amazing photographs that captured the best parts of my home, and just made the entire presentation stunning. Adam arranged for a quick escrow and I was constantly informed throughout the process. It’s rare that to find professionals that actually deliver on all their promises - and they did just that.

I contacted Eric in hopes to work with both Adam and Eric when my listing was up with my current agent. They were awesome and I was ready to work with them. I had every reason to believe they would sell my home for the price I was asking. Just before my listing was up an offer came in. I would totally recommend Adam and Eric. Plus they've invited me to use them as a resource during the escrow process. Tina Azzarella Fullerton

My dealings with The Adam and Eric Team were nothing but the best. They are truly class acts and real professionals. They got back to me at every time of day, listed my home with some super cool marketing technology, and delivered me a safe and easy sale - something I did not think was possible when selling my home. My wife and I could not have been happier with the service Adam, Eric, and the entire team provided us.
