Texoma pools and spas has some of the worst customer service. I had to call 4 times over a 2 week time frame to schedule an appointment to look at my home pool. Only to finally get intouch with some one who said my appointment was in 2 more weeks. Thanks for leting me know and actually taking time to schedule something with me. Once the guy comes out he says the pump noise is a problem! No kidding! What's he tell me, " it might be something you will just have to live with". Here's and idea, how about replacing the motor. He also took pics of cracks in my pool liner along with my pump configuration to install variable speed pumps. 4 weeks now, no quote, callback, nothing. I even went into the store to complain and see if I could get something out of this place. It's been 3 days now and still nothing! I'm blown away of how any company can survive with service like this, I guess they are so rich with work they don't need my business. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

I have been a customer at Texoma Country Pools for the past ten plus years. That in its self tells you what I think of their service and employees. They are outstanding! The reason I am writing this review is because their staff has gone above and beyond in repairing my Hayward pool & spa heater. The pool and heater were already installed when I purchased our home. If you want to buy, maintain or repair a pool or spa Texoma Country Pools and Spas is the place to visit.

I just moved to the area and our family inherited a pool from the previous owners. The house had sat unoccupied for 3 months so when we showed up the pool looked like an above ground swamp. I had visited a few locations asking questions (never owned a pool before) and actually spent a few hundred dollars at one of them in chemicals to try to fix it just to have it go green again in a few days. I walked into Texoma pools and spoked to a gal named Kara who sat me down and walked me through it all. I informed her before hand that we still had plenty of chemicals left and wouldnt need to buy any, and she still spent a good deal of time with me walking me through what I needed to do- and it worked. When I do need more chemicals, which I will, I will be sure to go back to Texoma pools to get them. Not too often do I want to bring business to a place due to their customer service (usually just go to the closest location to my house) but I will definately be a return customer. Thank you for helping make the bottom of my pool visible!!!!! and my visit enjoyable.

I have been a customer since around 2000: they designed installed, and service my pool and in ground hot tub. Texoma has stood behind their product 100% and taken care of any issues that have cropped up including taking care of manufacturer problems that have cropped up. I am a happy customer.

We've worked with Texoma pools for over 8 years now, from their sales staff to their installation crews its been nothing but excellent. We need more business like Texoma pools in our area. Hoping for many more years of great business.

It took Texoma Country Pools and Spas nearly 4 months to construct our pool/spa. We signed a contract on Feb. 5th, they didn't begin construction until March 5th and by Memorial Day we still didn't have a pool we could swim in. They were the most difficult contractors to deal with in the entire construction of our new home, barns and fencing. There were several missed scheduled start dates, no shows and excuse after excuse. Their employees were argumentative and not at all interested in pleasing us or our home builder. In the end, I realized that although we had plumbing and a heater for our spa, there was no blower or air intake for therapeutic jets. We were told (and our contract stated) that the spa would have 6 therapeutic jets and in fact when completed did not. We were told they could add a blower at our expense. Because this group of people were so difficult to deal with, I hired another company to install the blower and to do cleaning and maintenance on our pool. I certainly do not recommend Texoma Country Pools and Spas!

Response from the owner - a year ago
While no one is perfect we pride ourselves in going the extra mile and making things right. As with any small business, referrals are a big part of our business. Texoma Country Pools and Spas mission and goal is customer satisfaction. Every pool we design and build are custom and unique to the client's needs. All pools are different and the time from start to finish will vary from pool to pool. There are several factors effecting length of construction. In this particle case there were two that directly affected the length of construction. One was the house was under construction at the same time we were building the pool and the other was weather. Working with home builders is common practice and while it isn't a problem it does draw out the pool construction process. Concerning the weather, the original date to start excavation was 2/12/13. On this date it rained .54". Excavation was rescheduled and while we are on our way to the clients house, the client cancelled because there was rain in the forecast within the next couple of days. The next dig was rescheduled due to pallets of brick, for their house construction, setting in the location where the pool was located. Excavation was completed on 3/5/2013. Pool was plastered and filling with water on 5/6/13. Keeping in mind rain does affect our ability to work, weather history for the date range of 2/5/2013 to 5/27/2012 was 9.94" of rain. As with any custom project there were multiple proposals submitted prior to the signing of the contract. In the last proposal there were items added and removed at the owners request. One of the items removed at the owners request was the air blower for the spa. The proposal clearly states that a blower is needed for elevated spas. We plumbed the spa with an airline for future use in case the owner changed their mind. Obviously the owner changed their mind but felt it should be included at no cost. For all the problems and bad experiences this client had I was never called nor received any complaints. When I asked them why they never called me I was told they didn't know my name. Not knowing my name hasn't stop clients from calling and asking for the manager/owner/person in charge in the past. That is my job and I'm always available for any client who has a question or issue that needs to be address. Don Hicks/General Manager

The staff are very friendly and family oriented. They gave me the answers to my questions not trying to make a sale but to help me better my situation with my pool. I was given up front information on costs and what to expect for my new pool. This was the 2nd company I tried and they by far exceded any standard of other pool companies I have delt with. I will be happy to direct any business and questions to them in the future.

@Bob. We pride ourselves with our customer service and encourage you to contact us directly regarding your complaint. It is our policy that two or more employees open pools, I cannot determine which customer you are. Again, please contact us directly so that we may clear this up. Respectfully, Texoma Country. @Taylor Melton. We have no record of your having been a customer. @Jacob Williams please call the General Manager so he talk with you about your experience.
