Happy Don't Fry Day! You can't stay in the comfort of your AC ALL the time - so just be sure to slather up out there.

Because you know - sometimes it's not the heat. It's the humidity (or lack thereof.) http://ow.ly/N9fCa #FortWorthHVAC

To clean, or not to clean (your air ducts.)
THAT is the question. http://ow.ly/NcTJP #FortWorthHVAC

Be sure to open you garage door fully before stating your car. When you pull back in, be sure to leave the door open for a few minutes after turning the car off to allow fumes to escape. Otherwise carbon monoxide can enter your home.

Had a company want to clean my ductwork, but after becoming suspicious I called Texas Air Doctors for a free evaluation of the proposed work. It quickly became obvious I was about to be scammed. While here I had them check the reason for a large amount of dust in my house. They found a couple of problems which included a dryer hose that was not functioning properly, and also the air filtration system on my HVAC that was ineffective. We had these two issues taken care of by TAD and are happy with the results. We also signed up for spring and fall inspections to ensure the HVAC system is working at peak performance. Great job, folks!

Our gas fireplace quit working back in December, so I called Texas Air Doctors. They came out as scheduled. Mike G. was our service specialist, he was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose and repair our fireplace, and it has been working great ever since. I would recommend Texas Air Doctors to anyone. Thank You

Always on time. Friendly, knowledgeable, and don't leave you feeling like they have taken advantage of you. I like dealing with local businesses and I'm glad to have this one in my area.

NOT HAPPY. They came to "service" our AC for $99 (coupon). 45 minutes later, the technician told me we were looking at a $3500 repair (a leak and a needed a new motor). My husband wasn't home at the time, but he called them to see what exactly the problem was. The air was working/cooling just fine; we just needed it serviced! He wasn't happy with the "fuzzy" explanation given and asked them to email him an itemized quote. The quote was two lines--a leak and a new motor--nothing about parts needed or cost of labor. He called again to ask for an itemized/more detailed quote, and they sent him the same thing they had previously sent. We had a bad feeling, so we called Sears to get a second opinion. In short, the Sears technician said the unit hadn't even been opened in years and was very dusty (so the TAD guy didn't even open the unit!). The $3500 repair ended up costing us $608 from Sears, which included the servicing (he spent about 2 hours cleaning the thing), added freon (the other guy was supposed to have done that but clearly didn't), and a leak sealant just to make sure there was no slow leak (he didn't see one). Call these people if you must, but get a second opinion if they tell you you need a repair on a working unit.

He was prompt in showing up. Technician new what to fix. The price to replace what he replaced was way to expensive. After searching the web and talking to friends I feel as though I got taken to the cleaners. He replaced four capacitors for $1248. After looking around and finding out more info about the parts they run any where between $20-40. This is why I really don’t care for this industry. If anything I wish I would have waited for a friend of the family. And yes they do try to sell you some maintenance agreement but the technician is not that pushy. I have been a google fan for some time now but never really needed to create a google+ account until now just to share my experience. So consumers be warned.
