Seattle has gone 'hawk crazy! What a fun week!
+Seattle Seahawks
Microsoft and Amazon already showed Seahawks love today already. Boeing impressed nearly everybody a day earlier with a special Seahawks-themed 747-8 jet.

I wonder if my dog would bark at this like she barks at the mailman. Probably so. Actually...definitely so.

Expanding the availability of custom URLs

Custom URLs are short, easy to remember web addresses that link directly to your Google+ profile or page (like google.com/+OtavioSilva or google.com/+Toyota). They make it easier for you to connect with others, as well as promote your content, and today we're significantly expanding their availability to people and pages on Google+.

If your profile meets the following criteria, you’ll now be able to claim a custom URL:
- Has a profile photo, and
- Has at least 10 followers, and
- Has an account that's at least 30 days old

Meanwhile, any brand or business that has a linked website or is a verified local business can claim a custom URL for their Google+ page. Link and verification info is available in the Google+ Help Center: http://goo.gl/RMpxP.

Once you meet the eligibility criteria, just visit your profile or page to begin the claiming process. If you don't see the option yet, don't worry: we're expanding availability throughout the week, and you'll see the in-product notice as soon as your custom URL is ready.

We hope that custom URLs will help  you more easily promote your content on Google+, whether it be new photo collections, Hangouts On Air, or an interesting series of posts.  For ideas on how to include custom URLs in your campaigns, ad creatives and more, visit our help center: https://support.google.com/plus/?p=claim_url

I knew Pete Carrol would be successful in the NFL.  What an amazing coach.  I love a good defensive team.  Any sport I play I let my defense win the games (most sports).  I wonder if it will ever happen?  Will Nick Saban decide to coach an NFL team?  My prediction is is he does, then he will win a Superbowl within 4 years as a head coach in the NFL.

For the love of God people, vaccinate your children.
The anti-vaccination movement is coming to take your good health away.

It's easy to dismiss concern with vaccination because of Jenny McCarthy's overreaching reasoning. Thermarosol is very real concern. JM is wrong on most counts, but beware.

Elliott Bay Book Company is the antithesis of Barnes & Noble. It's a true local bookstore with wood ladders and local authors on display. Their new location on Capitol Hill is a beautiful space also. I had the pleasure of hosting an event for work there a couple of years ago and they were just really great to work with. Check them out if you're in the hood and looking to get lost in a book all day!

We went to Cuoco on a Friday after work and caught the tail end of their happy hour. We ordered a couple of things from the HH menu, then got entres from the regular dinner menu. Everything was fantastic! My favorite were the meatballs - the sauce on them was absolutely perfect. My husband and I each got a pasta dish as well - me the butternut squash ravioli and he the tagliatelle with some kind of braised meat. A lot of their pasta is hand-made as well and they have a nice selection of wine and other mixed drinks. Definitely a nice place to go for date night!

Brouwer's is definitely the place to go if you're looking to grab a beer in the Fremont neighborhood. They have a huge tap selection of beers from Belgium, the UK and Germany, along with some local selections as well. The food is very tasty for bar food, especially the Fish and Chips and the frites with aioli. The atmosphere, although dark and brooding, definitely gives you the feeling of being in a European pub.

In addition to have a beautiful ambience, the food at Quinn's is always fantastic. From simple salads to their various exotic meat dishes, Quinn's has something for everyone. It can get busy on the weekends if you're dining with more than 1 person.

It's #reviewsday Ballard Ave is hopping with new bars and restaurants and The Gerald is one of the best! The 60s decor and ambiance makes you feel like you just stepped on to the set of "Mad Men" and the drinks and food complement their period style perfectly. The pigs in a blanket, chicken waffle sliders and make your own grilled cheese are some of my favorite food choices.

I've been here several times for happy hour and always liked their small tali and especially the spice crispies, however I came here for dinner once and wasn't as impressed. For the price I think I was just expecting more. One of the things in my tali was a pumpkin soup, which sounded really great, but it ended up being way to floral for my taste. I might give it another shot and order something different. Or just stick to happy hour :)

Jade Garden is the place to go for Dim Sum, but be prepared to wait, especially on a Sunday! The atmosphere isn't the greatest, but the food certainly makes up for it. We can go and spend $20 for two of us and be totally stuffed. The pork buns are definitely my favorite!
