Maple Roasted Smoked Pork Hock

Looking for other ways to cook with pork hocks, not involving sauerkraut. This way may take a little longer but it's still fabulous. Added bonus of winding up with a liter of smoked pork stock.

The smoked pork hock is braised first, then roasted quickly with a maple/grainy dijon glaze.

I did not eat all of this hock, it's huge. I will have to come up with something with the leftovers.

Those oven fries beat deep fried any day, less mess, crispy on the outside, fluffy soft on the inside.
