Just added several of my more "way out" pieces to a new playlist, "Favorite Experimental Explorations" at my SoundCloud page. I hope some folks like this sort of thing! (I love it!)
Includes stand-alone versions of the ALL the plugins. (see below...)
Most of these work with even the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Irfan View (if you don't have Photoshop or Lightroom).
Install IrfanView first. Then install the NIK collection, add Irfan View to the hosted apps using the "Plus" sign button, and select the Adobe 8bf folder. However, replace the shortcuts NIK puts into the IrfanView plugins/Adobe 8bf folder with the 32-bit versions of each plugin. (Four do not work: HDR FX Pro, Silver FX Pro, Color FX Pro, and Analog FX Pro, because the "stub" transfer from IrfanView crashes.)
You have the standalone versions handy, though, and both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the standalone versions work just fine by themselves. Look in your Program Files\Google\Nik Collection folder for the folders containing the both the 32-bit and 64-bit stand-alone apps and similar versions of each plugin.
notified me of this first, but I see many of my friends here found it as well! :-) Thanks, Mark!
Photo enthusiasts all over the world use the Nik Collection to get the best out of their images every day. As we continue to focus our long-term investments in building incredible photo editing tools for mobile, including Google Photos and Snapseed, we’ve decided to make the Nik Collection desktop suite available for free, so that now anyone can use it.
The Nik Collection is comprised of seven desktop plug-ins that provide a powerful range of photo editing capabilities -- from filter applications that improve color correction, to retouching and creative effects, to image sharpening that brings out all the hidden details, to the ability to make adjustments to the color and tonality of images.
Starting March 24, 2016, the latest Nik Collection will be freely available to download: Analog Efex Pro, Color Efex Pro, Silver Efex Pro, Viveza, HDR Efex Pro, Sharpener Pro and Dfine. If you purchased the Nik Collection in 2016, you will receive a full refund, which we’ll automatically issue back to you in the coming days.
We’re excited to bring the powerful photo editing tools once only used by professionals to even more people now.
What another game show night? Yeah https://goo.gl/kQIDCB

I believe that the "brand building" oriented marketing approach we usually see being promoted is a somewhat cruel hoax being pushed to unsuspecting local businesses, desirable to agencies because the results cannot be measured (or because those agencies don't know any better...). Nowadays, your business is the brand, and your honest transparency is what you will be measured and remembered for. I've built video courses, coaching experiences, public training events, and much more. For more on that, go to NCMarketers.com.
I am a Screencasting enthusiast. I am an active help-desk team member/volunteer for the CamStudio open-source software project.
I also help people produce live TV shows using both the Google Plus Hangouts on Air and YouTube Live Events, both methods leading to recorded programs that can be can shared with later non-live audiences via YouTube.
