I'm using Backcountry Navigator now. I purchased the full version previously for hiking because it allows downloaded map tiles. Great app, just not as simple as My Tracks.

Get off the TV football. X-Files is suppose to be on!

Even the stadium is empty, everyone that was at the game is going to be able to watch X-Files at home. :P

Cool climbing podcast.

Welcome to Basecamp, a place where dirtbags, mountaineering legends and amateurs alike meet up to swap stories and share their passion for climbing, whatever the style. Hosted by Brandon Pullan, a climber and the editor in chief of Gripped magazine.

From reports on the road radio it seems there was a rollover at KM 9 of the Jedney (Mile 126) not long ago. Probably best to take Mile 135 up for now, not sure if the road is completely blocked or not.

Yes there was, Jedney road was still clear and open 30mins ago.

I assume it will be close for a bit once the recovery unit arrives.

The room we booked a month before our trip wasn't the room we got. Had to stay in a two queen room until the two bedroom suite was available. The two bedroom suite was nicer that the room on the upper floor, but the walls were still paper thin on both and you could hear people taking at a normal volume. WiFi was very iffy at times (in both rooms), even when the hotel wasn't busy. Satisfied with the last part of the stay. What's with the outside lights all being off on the morning??? Can't see anything packing the truck.
