In a third round of Parenting Roundabout this week, I talked with +Kathy Ceceri about 'Big Hero 6,' cool robot research, and robot-related projects kids can do.
During our Oscars live-tweet, Kathy Ceceri mentioned her appreciation of Best Animated Feature winner Big Hero 6 for its good depiction of robots, and we ;thought that deserved more than a tweet's worth of talk. Terri Mauro is the About.com Guide to Parenting Children With Special Needs and the author of 50 Ways to Support Your Child's Special Education and The Everything Parent's Guide to Sensory Integration. Her humorous website, Mothers With Attitude, has been named a USA Today Hot Site and a Good Housekeeping Site of the Day. She has two terrific kids with special needs: a 23-year-old with language-based learning disabilities and an 20-year-old with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, both adopted from Russia in 1994.
