we were in town for a wedding and plan A to park our 36' class a fell through. I might note I have no relationship with the owners and this is my first time ever to Terre Haute. we found this campground nearby. from when we pulled in the staff was nothing but fantastic. customer service is obviously a priority. I'll sum it up negatives: the price per night seemed a bit steep at just over $50/night for full hookups but worth it to us. the site was a little on the narrow side but then again these were designed to be more of a transient site for large rigs positives: This place has everything. besides the great service (and fresh cookies when you check in!) there is many amenities that stand out.\ the store has everything from ice cream bars to t shirts and toys but a very well stocked parts area with dump valves, light bulbs, fuses, vents, adapters, cables, all the I forgot or small stuff needs. I was impressed. there's the obligatory pool, showers, and laundry, but they are top notch and very clean and well kept there is LP refilling...not many campgrounds have this there is a small cafe on site with breakfast and dinner. the fresh made pizza was outstanding! for the little ones there is a gravel track with pedal go-carts, a playground, a giant outdoor chess and checkers field. there is an outdoor covered firepit with swinging chairs...I want this at home! there are cabins that are very basic, and nice deluxe ones with air conditioning. They even have teepees to stay in! there are a couple of friendly donkeys to pet and feed and a play western town at one end. I would like to add there are a variety of site options. some sites even have paved patios with well made firepits and patio furniture! There are many trees and shade is provided to all sites at some point during the day the place isn't huge, but its well run and well kept. whether you are staying in Terre Haute as a destination or as a stop on a long trip. I would recommend this park. If I was headed this way again, I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for taking the time to read my long-winded reveiw

Everyone here is super friendly! This place is clean and quite. The kids had a blast swimming, feeding the donkeys, going on a tractor ride, playing at the park and playing Checkers. Robin was awesome and the kids even got free cookies. I don't think I've seen a campground shower house this nice before. We come this way once a year for a family reunion and this is our new place to stay! Again WONDERFUL!

It is $650 a month plus electric and then $10 per computer for wifi. The staff isn't friendly and they left me a nasty voice mail after I left because I didn't give them a good review. There is no parking because the sites are so small. Don't stay here. Get a hotel and save yourself sone money.

I had a great experience. The lady running the show was so friendly and helpful. She even gave us free cookies! The wifi was also free. The campgound was very nice and had donkeys you could feed, though I wish the pin was a bit bigger. (They love the leaves from the surrounding trees.) I would definitely recommend this campground.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review and for staying with us during your recent visit to the Terre Haute area! We are so glad to hear you loved our free cookies, the donkeys and our friendly staff. We do hope to see you again soon!

We had stayed at this park overnight on our way out west. The stay was pleasant & the ladies in the office were great. We decided to stop again on our way back east. We made a reservation & arrived at 7 p.m. We were shown to our site which proved to be a bad fit for our rig. We couldn't open our slides. We headed back to the office to see if we could try another site. As we parked next to the office we were accosted by the owner asking if we were in a hurry. He accused us of speeding in the park. We had just turned a corner & traveled a couple hundred feet while pulling a 33 foot fifth wheel. How does one speed doing that? This man continued to berate us loudly as we tried to question his accusation. He proceeded to kick us out of the park & when we didn't move fast enough he threatened to call the police. This was screamed at us in front of several people much to our embarassment. We had done nothing to deserve this type of treatment. Needless to say, we were left with no place to stay that night. We had to drive through the night to make the 6 hour drive home. We camp a lot & always abide by all park rules. We will continue to enjoy our camping life but we'll never return to this park.

My wife and I are on a road trip and are camping along the way. This KOA was a great find. Super friendly staff and the campground is dog friendly with a small fenced in dog area. There is an on site restaurant (diner food/pizza) and a pool. We needed a power adapter and the staff let us borrow one. Great time at terre haute koa!

The lady behind the desk was an amazing and helpful worker how ever the park owner and a male employee was very rude and disrespectful. He degraded me and yelled at me so loud the my kids eating dinner out side heard him. I went in to ask for some ranch for my kids chicken strips. I told the manager lady and she said he was the owner and that he does that sometimes. He never came over to apologize to me or the kids. We spent well over 300 dollars there. But after this happened we didn't spend another dime. They could have made a lot more money from us. I WILL NOT be back and I am going to contact koa itself too.

EVERYTHING IS A FEE!! Daughter had a three day softball tournament with long time between each game. Thought we could stay here so that not only us but the softball team could have a place to chill between games and have a shady place to have some lunch/ supper. We used charcoal grill which we brought. NEver were they going to use anything but our campsite. First Night the gentleman came over and began yelling at the parents and getting in their faces for not registering. Everyone had to leave. Went and spoke with him and told him that I apologized and thought that you were wanting overnight guest to register which then he berated me and basically called me a liar. Said I owed him money. After some discussion and told me that ALL guest must pay $7.00 to visit!! We finally agreed to pay $ 10.00. The next day my husband went and spoke with him that we would like to have them back today and hoped that we could work something out. Again, no pool usage.. just the campsite. Finally agreed on $25.00. Mind you that the girls probably spent that much in cookies that they were selling which they would not have had if not for our girls being there!! Let along the ice and hamburger buns we purchased!! Don't get me wrong, I know that they probably used their restrooms and there is cost for toilet paper and water but $7.00 a person??? AFter four games and a long game, we pull in around 11.00 P.m. to find out the electricity is out and we cannot take showers or wash uniform. My daughter went to bed after taking cold water to her face and arms just to get through the night. Finally came on around 2.00am. Up at seven to wash uniform and was told the games are delayed because of rain that morning. ASked the gentleman if we could come back and get trailer around 3:00 after our games so we didn't have to haul it to the diamonds and since it is a popup, we wanted the outside to dry before putting it down. Said we had to pay for a 1/2 day! Needless to say, we sent daughter with another family and we quickly put everything away and stuffed everything where we could so we could pull out of there in time to see daughter play! NEVER have I EVER been to a campground so unaccommodating, unfriendly, and unflexibile!! When I spoke to gentleman how unhappy I was, he kept talking over me saying, " ok. Ok.. no problem". NEVER WILL I camp here and if you are going for a softball or baseball tournaments, I would highly rethink your plans!!
