Just came across this blog post reviewing our park from several years ago.  Just love to read about families enjoying their travels together and especially love to be a park of those memories.  thanks, Brooke and family.
A wonderfully quiet bit of country and very close to the city. To get here from the 90, take loop 410 South to I35 and head South on I35 but immediately exit on Fischer Rd (exit 144). Travel 3/4 mile east on Fischer Rd and tu...

RV travel and a healthy lifestyle don't always go together because we don't always have the time or ingredients handy to go that route.  This simple tip will work whether you're at home or on an RV trip.

Wow, Marlan.  Great technology.  No need to be stuck to someone else's view of where your home should be.  Thanks for sharing all the technology.
I thought of some other applications whereby they can be used.  Namely, when developing our new RV Park area we could place actual RV pads and RVs where they would be and see the affect of the lot size, where to plant trees in advance of the actual build if needed and which landscapes we needed to work around or change.  I also used Google earth for advance design of our site map.  The designer had the exact positions of the various sites and park features.  Perfect way to handle that project with a designer who lives half way across the US from us.

My luck, the tree would have landed directly on it... fortunately for you it didn't.

This is just so sad.  Although legislation could have averted this...we shouldn't need legislation for things that are related to common sense.  Can't imagine what the parents (or the range for that matter) were thinking.  Not to mention the horrible guilt the 9yr old will carry for the rest of her life.  All so senseless.
In White Hills, AZ, about halfway between Kingman and Las Vegas, NV, there’s a place of business called “Bullets and Burgers”. It’s the burger joint/machine gun range where a 9 yr. old girl shot her instructor to death using ...

Introduction

Hospitality expert, Texas travel guide, blogger, RVer, RV park operator anxious to help you plan and have a memorable San Antonio visit.

I Have lived in PA, NY, CA, NM and now I'm home in San Antonio, Texas. In the 80's I got the travel bug and RVing was the natural progression. Around 1985 I found Hidden Valley (maybe they found me?) and it quickly became a part of me.

After becoming the RV Park manager, I met my soul mate, Mark, who worked for a local school district and spent nights and weekends at Hidden Valley.  We became fast friends and married, and have spent many happy years here at the Valley raising two, now grown children.  Since March of 2012 Mark has retired from the school district and now we get to spend our days together doing what we've grown to love...serving our guests, growing our Hidden Valley family and expanding the RV Park to include amenities to enhance our guests RV experience.

Today, my daily joys include
  • Waking up to an occupation I love
  • Marketing
  • Emptying Garbage Cans
  • Website Management
  • Working with a great team
  • Social Media
  • Mowing acres of grass
  • Blogging

... to mention but a few

Fantastic breakfasts and healthy country favorites for lunch. Invited to a buffet breakfast there once and it was exquisite. Atmosphere is early Texas country with patio or inside dining with great views of the San Antonio River and the very near King William historical neighborhood. Housed in the original location of the famous Pioneer Mills building. Quaint shop and trendy yet antique style decor.
