The battle of the battles. #facebook   #snapchat
It’s been a great year for Snapchat and it’s no surprise that Facebook is eyeing up many of its most successful features. At the same time, Snapchat is moving away from ephemeral content and beginning to engage in a stronger battle against the most popular social network in the world than we first thought. Will there be a clear winner? Round 1: Audience We may not have all the stats to compare side by side the audience for both platforms, but ...

#UX
It’s easy to create a landing page to promote a product, or a service, but is it really conveying your message to boost conversion? Landing pages can be a great starting point for a business to promote a new product, or a service, but it’s becoming more challenging nowadays to convince customers to trust you. There’s an increasing online clutter that can make an landing page look spammy, but there are always quick fixes to improve conversion, es...

I'd love to hear more creative ways you might have come across with brands promoting their Snapchat presence.

(I personally liked the idea of getting influencers on board)
Snapchat may be trending, but it’s not always easy to build an audience, especially when you’ve just started. How do brands overcome this challenge? More and more brands understand that Snapchat may become a powerful tool for their social strategy, but, compared to other platforms, it can require more effort for your brand to be found. A Snapchat user can add a friend (or a brand) through a username, a snap code, or even a nearby location, but th...

This one started out of personal curiosity on how a brand can lead its current social audience to Snapchat. It's not always easy, but some ideas were quite interesting (and I assume, effective). There's no need to shout 'add me on snapchat' to build an audience, right?

I must admit I really liked some of them (while some other cases confirmed the #1 when posting about popular topics: always stay relevant)
Pokémon Go has gone big very quickly, and brands have been quick to jump on the opportunity. Pokémon Go may not even have a worldwide release yet, as it’s only available in US, Australia and New Zealand, but it’s rapidly surpassing WhatsApp, Instagram and Snapchat in terms of usage time. Over the past few days, we’ve seen several examples of brands referring to Pokémon Go and there’ll be many more. Not every mention was successful, so we decide...

News consumption has changed over the years as more people turn to social media to be updated for the latest news. How does this trend affect the online publishing industry? Reuters Institute has released its Digital News Report for 2016 and it has been confirmed that more and more people prefer consuming content through social networks, with the younger generations significantly contributing to this rise. 64% of people aged 18-24 said they rely...

"Add me on Snapchat" is not enough.
In fact, it's the least creative way to promote a brand's Snapchat presence, don't you think?
