Home buyer trends are an important factor to consider in your local real estate market, because this information could help you market your property to a specific demographic. For example, young buyers are essential to today’s market and make up a large part of buyers. Many people may think these millennials are looking for a hip, urban neighborhood, where in reality, more and more are purchasing homes in suburban areas.
Whether you are a buyer or a seller, these tips from +Anita Clark may help you in your real estate endeavors.

There is a lot of advice out there when it comes to selling your home--some of it is good, other advice you may as well just ignore. Every homeowner wants to sell their home for the best possible price, in a short amount of time. In order to do this, you need to make sure you are doing it the right way. By following bad advice, your outcome may not be very positive. Check out +Bill Gassett's article about the top home selling mistakes many sellers make.

Many people will back away from showing interest in a home that has multiple offers. Maybe they are afraid of disappointment, or maybe they are afraid of overpaying. First of all, if there are multiple buyers interested, only one will actually have their offer accepted, which means all other offers are rejected. It is just part of the game. Second, if the house was overpriced, there wouldn’t be so many offers and if you feel you are going to have to pay too much to stay in the game, you have the ability to back out. Do not just pass over a home because there are multiple offers, because there is obviously something appealing about the home that others see, too.

Thank you +Kevin Vitali for this great information.

It may be time to give your home a face lift. The first thing you should do is set a budget, however there are many costs to take into consideration, not just the quote amount. In this article, I discuss what other items you may be paying for in addition to the contracted amount so that you do not blow your budget out of the water.
